I needed a coconut cake and a tray of mini dessert for about 40 people... everyone was very impressed. The coconut cake is so delicious, I understand how it wins best coconut cake in Atlanta year after year! They've moved again too, but just down the street. I grabbed the address off their website www.metrobakery.com, its 1119 Logan Circle, Atlanta 30318.

We recently used Metrotainment for our wedding cake and grooms cake. I had already had a few metrotainment cakes before and we figured we would try them for our wedding cakes. For our tasting, we were given large samples, large enough to take extra homes which her parents enjoyed (which was good because they were paying). Their cakes are DELICIOUS. There's no doubt about it. We got chocolate and vanilla flavored layers with their cream cheese frosting. It was great. Our grooms cake was a layered cookie cake, and all my friends were talking about how awesome it was. The designs were great, but the only problem was the cake started melting before the reception started. There were pieces that broke off of the top, which kinda sucked. Their service was great, and they offer to give you a new cake 'top' on your one year anniversary, freshly baked by them. Much better than eating a cake that has been in the freezer for a year.

Yes, you read what I typed correctly. They make all my birthday cakes and they made my Gluten Free wedding cake. It is made of rice flour and so amazing. No kidding. My wedding cake tasted great and no one knew it was rice instead of wheat! This is not the location I use, I think this is their old address. I go to Metrotainment on 14th Street close to the Howell Mill intersection. LOVE THIS PLACE!

This place is amazing. The cakes and pies are aesthetically beautiful and are packed with lots of taste. I've taken the Coconut Cream Cake to several family gatherings, and I never come home with a bit of it. Always popular!
