I went to him for consult to freshen up under my eyes. He wanted to do upper eyelid surgery on me and also brow lift. I am not old enough for this yet. Besides, people have told me for years that they think I am the prettiest girl they have ever seen, that i have beautiful eyes, eyebrows, etc. I told Dr. Metzinger that I do not want to have those additional surgeries, and that I like my eyebrows. He argued that i would look "younger" and put me into a mirror and lifted my eyebrows with his fingers and asked that didn't it look better? it told him no! i looked ridiculous, like surprised. To make it worse, he showed me before and after photos of his patients. They didn't look much different, and i noticed he used differential lighting in the before and after photos. If you have to use different lighting to try to make the patient look better, that is indication that your work cannot stand on its own. I will never use him. I would prefer a surgeon who appreciates the patient's natural beauty, only wants to make him/her look "refreshed" and not carve them up and radically change them.
