I would highly recommend Michael Smith as a realtor for anyone looking to purchase or sell a home in the Atlanta area. Michael helped my wife and I negotiate a great deal on our first home in the Sexton Woods area. Not only was Michael professional and timely in all his responses he was also a wealth of knowledge. He has contacts for everything housing related and will make sure as a client you are well taken care of.

I would not hesitate to use Michael in the future for my home buying needs. He is extremely knowledgeable of market conditions and made sure that we got the best deal possible in exactly the area we wanted. Michael helped us every step of the way from loan pre-approval to offer writing, through a home inspection and closing. The end result was a great price on a house with an on-time closing. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Michael Smith is clearly educated, professional and well-rehearsed in what he does. I worked with Michael for a full year from initial communication to closing. I (probably more so than anyone else) asked him over a hundred questions in the form of emails, phone calls or texts at any time of day/night. He has ALWAYS made a consistent effort to respond within minutes or within a reasonable amount of time that same day if he was busy showing homes, in meetings, etc. As a person trying to sell their home in the worst of markets resulting in 3 contract signings (2 of which fell through due to the buyers failure to do proper research prior to signing or the other that couldn’t get approved for the loan), multiple faxes to update paperwork, several inspections, etc. he got it done. What I’m trying to say is that this was no easy “list and sell;” it was a lot of hard work and he never once got discouraged or lost his cool even though I at times wouldn’t be the easiest person to deal with due to frustrations with buyers or the market. Michael charges the best commission in the industry along with top notch service. He knows it all when it comes to selling/buying a house in Georgia. He’s honest and very professional the whole way through and as a result has earned my respect and recommendation. Choose to use Michael Smith and you won’t be disappointed. Choose not to use him if you prefer to pay too much for mediocrity.

Michael provides comprehensive assistance when buying a home. He was consistent with his communication to me and other parties involved. Several friends have bought or sold homes in the last year and had issues with their Realtor, but I never had issues with Michael. I will recommend Michael to any of my friends in the market to buy or sell a home.

Michael is very knowledegable and accessible whether one is selling or buying; both he and Toni offer constructive and helpful suggestions. He is also a fount of information regarding service and product providers.
