Don't. Trust. Them., 10/20/2012

I walk in there to get an inspection done, and the inspector shines his flashlight on my one tire / wheel for about three seconds claiming my brake pads are shot, that they are "metal to metal", that... it is his job as an inspector to do the right thing for my safety. He says he won't pass me - nor will anyone else - unless I get them fixed. He didn't expect me to ask, "Oh, can you show me what you're seeing there?" Hence, why he came back with the unconvincing lie of "oh, well, you won't be able to see it...." He probably also didn't realize that maybe I knew my brakes were just fine because I'd just taken the car to the dealer about a month ago. And you know how dealers can sometimes be quick to get you to do more work to your car than you'd like. If he were worth my time, I'd like to drive by with my passed inspection sticker from another shop that I got just hours after trying to deal with him and his dishonest swindling shiesty tactics (which came served up with a side of rudeness and pressure by the way). Just another one of those car service places that give other decent shops a stereotypical bad name. AVOID.
