Midtown Towing

These people are not only incredibly unpleasant to deal with, they will also steal items from your car. They did when they towed mine, so I'm just making the best of it by suggesting friendly advice to double-check your contents before you leave. Having your car towed isn't a great experience, but it also doesn't have to be an awful one.

I was towed from my own apartment complex in the unloading zone even though my parking permit was displayed. I was unloading all of my x-mas gifts while my daughter was sleeping. When I returned to get my car it was already gone!The next day, when I went to get my car, the man at the gate followed me into the office harassing and threatening me. And, when I finally told him where to stick it, he told the lady at the front to not let me get my car outSo, I called the cops and he shut up very quickly. When the cops arrived they made them give me my car!...

Midtown Towing staff were extremely rude and damaged my car while it was in their posession. I will avoid them at all costs in the future.

Midtown Towing towed my car. When I went to pick it up, they ignored me (not even a waive) while I stood in the cold at 1am as their clerk chatted on the phone for the first 10 minutes I was there. When the clerk came to the window, she was hostile, abusive, and extraordinarily unhelpful. At one point she ordered my girlfriend to park her car across the street in a dangerous neighborhood with no lights or security anywhere in sight. Finally, she claimed the faxed paperwork proving ownership wasn't clear enough, even though I could read it just fine, and the fact that it was my car should have been clear from the fact that I happened to be carrying the keys that opened it. In sum, Midtown Towing was an awful company to deal with and I will avoid them at all costs in the future.
