The Smart Choice (saved from a 2K repair), 11/26/2011

On Friday morning in 40 degree, I noticed the thermostat needle go from supper cold to half-way in less than .3 miles. After calling the shop, Pat talked me off the cliff, and I brought the car in... this morning. Bad news, thermostat had gone bad. Great news, I caught it in time and didn't end up blowing the head gasket unlike another client. These people are refreshingly honest, patient (I was emotional about my car's health), and professional. I highly recommend and will be stopping in again.

Big Ripoff, 1/09/2011

With all these wonderful reviews, I feel like I'm in the minority. Last year I left my diesel F-350 with these people, and they kept it for almost six weeks. After a few days that I left it, they left... my truck outside, and forgot to lock it.Needless to say, I get a call from Pat to give me the wonderful news that someone has broken into my truck which was unlocked, and did alot of damage (tried to steal it). They did fix some of the problem but I did take my truck to another repair shop and they fixed it right up.My total bill with Mike's was over eighteen hundred dollars, but they gave me ten percent off the labor charge. Not a big deal, excluding the thieves took hundreds of dollars worth of things, including a great Nikon , which I just bought.I'm sure they have many satisfied customers, but I'm not one.

As you can read, we tried in every way to satisfy this customer. We were never told of a missing camera and we are fully insured for any losses. We lost money trying to satisfy customer and regret that he was not satified with outcome.

Highly Recommend

As a single female, there is little I dread more than dealing with car issues. Mike's Auto made my most recent experience very pleasant. Not only did they order parts and work late on a Saturday to repair my car, but they charged a reasonable price and arranged for transporation for me to go home while they did the work. Pat was very pleasant and most helpful. My car is running great.

Honest Folks

I have a 2001 Toyota Highlander. My fiance' has a 2007 Pontiac Grand Am. We have both used Mike's Auto and were very pleased with services and labor. It is nice to finally have some honest people you can trust your older vehicle to without other services being sold that you do not need. MGoodwin - VRay

Solid, dependable, honest

I've an old car, when it starts acting up, Mike's correctly figures out what's gone wrong and fixes it. They never try to sell me on something the car doesn't need, and they tell me the truth about what is needed and why. They're honest and stand by their work, if they mess something up they owe up to it and make it right.

If I drive it they fix it

Their sign says something like that on it. Anyway, these guys take care of my f350 diesel truck my wife's venture van and when the guys at my bike shop couldn't squeeze me in I called mike's up {I had seen one of their mechanics ride a bike onto the lot} they told me they didn't really work on alot of bikes but bring it by. I did and they got it fixed so I could ride on the weekend!!!

I'd never go to anyone else

I've got a German car as well as a Japanese car, my father has an American and these guys have done outstanding work on all of them. I believe in buying used cars and over the years have gone through a bunch of mechanics...I will now never go to anyone else.

These guys ROCK!

I have used Mike's Auto for the last couple of years simply because of their honesty, integrity, capability and their service. They were able to pinpoint a problem that several shops were unable to diagnose. The mechanic Wes, was able to find the problem and fix it in a VERY TIMELY manner. They are extremely friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions. When I asked about the other repairs that the other shops said that I needed right away, they were very honest and told me that I did not need some of the items on the list. Now that is HONEST. I have never had a single problem with them. When they told me it was repaired, it was repaired.
