Milano Pizza & Subs

I've been looking for NY style pizza since I came to Atlanta. By far, this is THE PLACE TO GO. Fresh dough, fresh sause, fresh toppings - 100% NY 'style' pizza. Not NY, but nobody comes close to this place down here!

I saw some negative reviews on other sites regarding service but I loved it. Pizza is not only cheap but they were friendly. They're more casual and I think this rubs some people the wrong way, but not me. Really great NY style pizza at a great price!

great sauce and pizza good variety of sauces and toppings genuinely oldstyle mom and pop reasonably priced real involved ine the neighbor hood schools etc great wall of clippings to read while you wait great lunch special

I went at lunchtime to order a couple of cheese pizza slices for my 2 hungry kids. The guy taking the order was not rude but not polite either. I don't expect a hug when I walk in a place but something other than a grunt would be nice! I ordered the pizza slices. I thought 2 slices of cheese pizza would be a pretty basic order at lunchtime in a pizza place and was expecting them fairly quickly. No, I was sitting there for 20 mins waiting for them!!!! Granted the pizza was nice and fresh and tasted good when we got it but not worth the 20 min wait. I also heard the guy be SO RUDE to someone on the phone who was obviously ringing up to see where their delivery order was. Tasty pizza this place has but customer service it does not. First and last time I went there. I won't be back.

I was taking classes about a block away and on our last day we (myself and classmates + teacher) decided to order food for all of us from this placeFirst off, when we called the person on the phone was very, very rude for no reason (prob having a bad day/ stressed out?). We were calling 2 days in advance as we were ordering a decent amount of food, so that couldn't be the reason he was being so rude. When our food arrived, the person delivering asked about his tip and was getting upset thinking we didn't tip him, and later actually had the nerve to call my classmates cell phone and was yelling at her about the tip, as the person obviously couldn't do basic math, as we left them a generous tip considering. The food was cold, not really tasty, the toppings stingy (we paid $4 extra for chicken and white sauce on one of the pizzas), and the service poorly executed. I don't understand how a place like this can stay in business. All I can say is that we were very upset and disappointed with the overall experience, and we hope no one else will have an experience like this here.(My classmates will be posting reviews through me as well)Here is one of them:"Milano's Pizza was cold when it arrived, the lasagna was watery, we requested no pork in the lasagna and they put pork in it anyways, the salads were thrown together, there were several problems with their customer service, it was the worst I have never experienced.
