"Communication rules the nation" they say. If communication rules a whole nation, then why would my one lawyer, whom I'm supposed to be confident in, lack it. When its one of the most important elements of building confidence in someone. I spent the entire year and two months communicating with my lawyer and even more effort waiting for communication back. I've had to call them every step of the way when it should've been vice versa. Although the people who answered the telephone were very nice and took every message that I left for my lawyer to return the call.

First of all Kelly is a very courteous person. She always answered the phone with a smile. I enjoyed her welcoming voice. Second Joe Baker was so helpful. He answered all my questions in ways that I understood. He never assumed I knew. He explained every move been made and we worked "together" to get this case resolved. He was always (even through multiple phone calls) polite and understanding. He made this process "sweatless" Thanks Joe Baker....you Rock. Tasha Holder

A very dissappointing experience. Be ready for typical lawyer talk and pressure to sign now! Very overpriced compared to other attorney with whom I've had discussions. Expect 33% right off the top. I recommend doing some comparisons before selecting this disorganized, unresponsive firm.

I am very sorry that this reviewer was disappointed. I personally met with the reviewer and his wife for more than one hour, with the meeting ending after 5 PM on a Friday afternoon. I answered many questions regarding how injury claims are handled and evaluated, and many specific questions about this case. I also explained that no work could be performed by my law office until we had been retained. Most personal injury law firms in the Atlanta area charge a 33% contingency fee, which is our standard rate as well for many of our cases. After our meeting I was unable to accept this reviewer's case and the reviewer was provided a referral to another legal service.
My firm did not represent the reviewer. I am confident that had we actually represented this kind gentleman and his wife, he would have been very pleased with the quality of our representation. As the reviewer suggests, I recommend doing some comparisons before selecting a law firm. It is my sincere belief that Millar & Mixon compares very favorably to any law firm in the Atlanta area.
Bruce R. Millar, Esq.
Millar & Mixon, Attorneys
The insurance co of the guy who hit me offered me a ridiculous amount to settle and then would never return my calls. I hired Mr. Millar and he got them to pay all my medical bills, plus a huge amount that covered my pain & suffering caused by this careless driver. I couldn't be more happy with the outcome and the way I was taken care of by these folks.

I recently used Attorney Bruce Millar for a slip/fall injury. He made me feel at ease almost immediately. When I wasn't able to make it to his office, he went out of his way to personally come to me. As my case proceeded, he and his staff allowed me to get better physically while they handled all aspects of my case. Mr. Millar and his entire staff were very attentive to my needs and obtained a top-notch settlement for me in very little time. I highly recommend his services to anyone seeking an attorney and would not hesitate to use him again should the need arise.

I happen to visit this page and was really surprised by the review that said the "Attorney was too busy to drive to my home" Bruce Millar has been my family and business attorney for about 14 years. His willingness to drop everything and go the extra mile has been extradionary! He and his staff (Debbie, Janet, etc...) work together as a team to assure that all their clients are met with friendly, personal and professional courtesy. I used Bruce when I lived and managed several corporations in Locust Grove Ga. and found that many times he would come to my home to meet me, and talk about my case. I now reside in Florida, and still retain Bruce as my attorney. I have, and will continue to refer my family, and friends, regardless of the situation, to Bruce Millar's office. I feel confident in knowing their needs will be met, and they too will receive the personal and professional service that he and his staff work so hard to provide.

Bruce Millar is a friendly, down to earth guy that is an expert in accident cases. He fights for his clients like no other attorney I've dealt with. He has a long, impressive list of settlements that rivals any case results in Metro Atlanta.

Attorney Bruce Millar gives 110% and then some. From the time that I met Bruce I knew there was something very special about him. Is he a top notch attorney? Absolutely! But what really sets him apart is that he puts his heart and soul into every case. He cares. And that attitude permeates his entire firm. I guarantee you that you won't be a number at this firm. You'll become part of "the family." And that's just exactly how you can expect to be treated...like family.
