Milton Heating & Air LLC

I used to like Milton but today they either ripped me off or are incompetent (or both).

My wife had them come for a spring service for the A/C unit they installed 2 years ago. Now the A/C was installed at a good price and has a 10 year parts and labor warranty.

The tech says the unit is low on freon and charges $70 for a pound. He doesn't do a leak check and makes no effort whatsoever to find the leak. This is pretty dumb because a proper A/C doesn't just leak freon. If there's a problem it needs to be fixed (and that would be covered under warranty).

So either they ripped me off by charging for a pound of freon I don't need or they don't know that they need to find the leak before filling it with freon.

Good luck getting a better experience.

I called Milton on short notice to come give our home HVAC system an annual service and to see if the upstairs unit was still working properly. Their technician, Chris Vermillion, arrived on time and began to inspect the system and identified that the upstairs unit's compressor had failed. On a hunch, Chris contacted the manufacturer of the unit see if the part was still under warranty, which it was, thus saving me approximately $2,500 in parts. I will use Milton Heating & Air again and will recommend them to friends and family. Thank You!

Luis from Milton Heating and Air was excellent- he was on time, professional, friendly, and provided thorough service during the tune up of my 2 ac units. I'm a first time home buyer, and he taught me a lot during the service- thanks!
