This past weekend was my 2nd visit here as well as my 2nd massage with massage therapist, Dorinda. I continue to be impressed!! Dorinda is FABULOUS. She understands the body and I can feel within in her touch that she loves what she does. She was professional and not chatty, yet friendly and accommodating. I shall return... And you should too!!

This place is so relaxing, and they give great spa treatments. It's better than any Spa Sydell I've ever stepped foot in. My experiences here have been so soothing and I feel like I've just gotten back from vacation every time I go.

I signed up for their email list and bought a package they were offering. I have had massages at low to high-end spas, chains and private companies and I must say, while the spa is on the pricey (however, I expected that based on the location) it was money well spent! My next appointment I will arrive early so I can take advantage of the "pre-treatment" frills they offer. Nothing like being pampered and I was definitely pampered! Javier is the BEST!!!

The whole treatment I was being pitched on every single product in the place. I was there to relax, not get 50 minutes of a sales pitch. I couldn't relax because she talked the entire time. Very young and unprofessional. ALSO, they automatically tack on 18% gratuity, and not the coupon rate, but 18% of what the treatment would have been. Very embarrassing to say you didn't want to leave that much, especially considering the service. $45 is a bit extreme of a tip for good service, let alone bad service!

We work very hard to make people happy and when clients come in for an advanced facial, not a relaxing treatment like a massage, we explain what is being used and try to educate. Because after all, clients who come for advanced treatments do so because they typically have specific issues or problem areas they need help on. We never force gratuity on clients, and it's very unfortunate that some choose to air their issues here instead of actually letting us know and giving us a chance to make things right. That just seems so unprofessional to me. Not a single effort was made to us to communicate dissatisfaction. And that's such a shame. We can't please everyone but we certainly do everything we can to try and have 1000's of very satisfied regular clients to prove it.
I've finally learned that if you want a good massage (and one that lasts for the full 60 minutes like advertised) go to a private practitioner. You may not get all the all of the froofy frills, but you will get a quality massage. Plus, you won't be expected to leave an 18% tip ...and yes, the receptionist will make you feel uncomfortable as you leave and actually ask you for it. I left feeling a bit ripped off but then again, I should have known that going into a spa. *EDIT: I just saw the spa's feedback to my review. While I can respect their late policy (as I have to have the same policy with my business), I was not late. I was also the last appointment of the night.

Amazingly, we just might be the only spa in Atlanta that schedules 75 minutes for each 1 hour massage. Many spas now do 50 minute massages instead of a full hour. We always do the full hour unless the client does not come to their appointment on time. If that's the case, their time can get cut short if we have multiple appointments following. After all, it's not fair to back up a whole day's schedule because of one client coming late to an appointment. And if there is no appointment directly after, we actually WILL give the full hour service even when client is late. We don't punish out of principle! I dare anyone to try getting a massage here and not get at least the full 60 minutes of service. Will never happen! (Unless you're late, of course)
As a regular spa goer, I'll be honest and say I'm pretty hard to impress. The minute I walked in I was offered hot tea or water by a friendly staff member. My facial was amazing with organic products that didn't bother my sensitive skin! She recommended how to take care of my skin at home and led me to a secluded waiting room to wait on my nail service. The pedicure was great! The technician was friendly and knowledgeable about the products she used. She didn't mind answering all of my questions either. Overall my day was much improved by how nice everyone was and I will definitely go back!

I went to the spa to relax. I am so pleased with my expierence. My massage with Shannon was outstanding. I had a facial with Bethany who reccommended how to take care of my skin at home. The staffs attention to detail was amazing. I will definitely return to the spa.

I'm always treated like a queen when I come here. It smells for wonderful and you begin to relax the moment you sit in the chair. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. Never rushed. I wish I had more time and $$ to come more often. You won't be disappointed.

I've been to this spa 4 times and each time got great service. The spa pedicure is the best and stays longer than any I've ever had. The staff are very friendly and the environment is calming. I always come out feeling better and that the money was well spent!

We bought a membership here because the service was so exceptional and it is quite good value as well. The staff is very professional and courteous. They are detail oriented and remember what you like and what you don't. I have been to many spas in Atlanta and would easily rank it above Spa Sydell and Natural Body. Small and intimate where you are not rushed in and rushed out in order to make room for the next client. A peaceful place staffed with delightful people.
