This was the most unprofessional job I have ever had the misfortune to contract out. The workman arrived to set a post for mailbox with no post hole digger. He used my brand new one (which I was going to return to the store) to dig a hole 16" in diameter and set the post, in concrete, over a foot too low even after my having printed out clear instructions from USPS for regulation height requirements. THe rest of the job went worse and worse. Minijobs informs me they have been setting posts for mailboxes for 25 years. All of them in a hole as big around as a car tire, 2 feet deep with a post so low that the USPS can not put mail in it from a mail truck?

I have uploaded a picture of the mailbox in our album. As you can see, the mailbox fits exactly where the Post Office requirements (that you printed off) show that it should. I came out and checked the level and plumb. We replanted grass around the area. We added extra concrete to make it stiffer to resist the vandals you said had damaged the last mailbox and post. When I checked with you after planting the grass, you said everything looked fine. I don't see any way to make it more perfect. Please let me know if we missed something.
I needed work done on a custom size garage door and was referred to David of Mini Jobs by two separate people - a real estate broker and ANOTHER handy man. I contacted him and we worked out a plan of action on my door all over the phone because I was traveling at the time. The work was done as promised, as quoted and delivered quickly. LOVE IT when that happens. If I weren't moving, I would just cut a key for David and his crew for any fix-it job I have.

Would not recommend due to scheduling which was erratic and inflexibly so. No problems with anything else.

Sorry you had problems. I'd like to know more. We are sometimes at the mercy of the weather and traffic. Please call me 404-264-9141. David
David and I spoke, and he told me he would do a small job for me on my home five days from the day we spoke. Five days seemed like a long time to wait for a small job, but I agreed because I didn't have time to shop around other handymen. Twelve days later, the job was STILL not done, and I heard NOTHING from David. I finally called him, and he told me he would get to it the next day (over a week after the job was supposed to be complete). Terrible service. Worse accountability. I highly recommend that you ignore all good reviews and choose another handyman that does the job he says he will do and holds himself accountable at all times.

Michael,I'm sorry I could not get to your rental single shutter, that had fallen off, in the time frame we discussed. I had some men that were out sick, but I can get to it tomorrow morning. I apologize that I did not call when we ran over the expected date. Please let me make it up to you. David
Bathroom remodeling done by two well experienced guys to our complete satisfaction. Work included tile, electrical, plumbing- all well done. When questions came up they worked with us to resolve the issues.

David runs this company in the most professional and wonderful way. He calls ahead, keeps his appointments, and is thorough to see the job to completion. I highly recommend.

I strongly suggest using Mini Jobs for your contractor needs. The workers were considerate. Clean-up was good every day. Workmanship was excellent. Work was timely. Our primary work was new sheet rock, insulation and painting.

I loved workingwith MiniJobs. David got our estimate to us quickly and set us up for a starting date promptly. We LOVED working with Alan the gentleman assigned to the job. He was courteous, trustworthy, and quality driven. We felt like he was really taking care of us. We are very appreciative to the whole MiniJobs team and WILL use them again and again.

When a tree fell on our deck earlier this year, my Wife and I realized that we were lucky that no other part of the house was damaged. After a couple of contractors, who had previously done work for us, had given us less than professional estimates, we decided to look elsewhere. Luckily for my Wife and I, we looked to you next. Your professionalism was the first thing that we noticed. When you or one of your associates scheduled a time to be at our house, you promptly appeared. In the event that you were delayed, someone called to let us know. Your work was very impressive as well. Each night, your associates cleaned the work area and did not leave any dangerous items around; this was very important to us since we have small children. Our new deck is exquisite! We have already entertained on it and look forward to doing so many more times in the future. Thank you very much for everything that you have done. Just as you have taken care of our home, my Wife and I know that you will take care of the future referrals that we pass on to you.

These guys advertise that no job is too big or too small, but apparently they couldn't handle either one efficiently. I had them replace a door and fix an interior roof from a leaky shower and both jobs took longer than they expected and were not of the greatest quality. The door is fine, but they took three trips to complete it. The ceiling however, is still not 100% and they left a huge mess after trying to complete it unsuccessfully. Worse yet, they sent me an invoice 6 months after the job for more than they quoted and after I had already paid them in full!

I hired them to do a reasonably easy structural repair on my home, and the final product was okay. I don't care for the hourly charge because this led to the repair being complete with the wrong materials. The owner left an employee to complete the job, and the employee couldn't complete the repair on his own... Requiring the owner to return the following day to finish up the job, and they charged me for the return visit! I would not have this company work on anything too important in my house again, and I would request a written estimate and hold them to it.
