Mirage Persian Cuisine

Went for b-day, after arriving put coupon on table for waiter to see and take. (simplified version of what happened next) Bill arrived, coupon was taken. Then told they do not accept, but no signs stating such. Called to verify coupon was good. Was then yelled at and disrespected by a Persian male manager. Then a Persian female manager came over and stated no manager at this restaurant can help a customer or discount a bill without it coming directly out of a person’s pay. I told her of the food issues and she said there is nothing they can do. She continued to say several disrespectful things to me. I was made to feel that this was not the type of restaurant I should be eating in. I finally paid my bill and left the restaurant visibly distraught and upset. After posting my experience on facebook, the owner called me a liar and would not acknowledge staff bad behavior. Regarding the food, only half of appetizer sampler was good (hummus was very grainy and soupy); bread overbaked; entrée meat and vegetables were partially burnt but the rice was good; missing several desserts and of those left, the flavors were not mixed together well. Food and staff behavior need improved.

The food here is good, though in my opinion overpriced. The real issue was the service. Our waitress was not great. She didn't refill drinks and was generally awkward, but I waited tables in college and am pretty forgiving of servers. However, she left! We sat there for an hour, with nobody checking on us. Finally we flagged someone down and our check was hopelessly screwed up. Because there were 7 of us we were forced to pay an 18% tip for some of the worst service I've ever had. I won't go back.

This is one of my favorite go to places in town whenever I want to have a relaxing and enjoyable time with friends. We love their outdoor patio for hookas and the food and service is just awesome. Some of the est kebabs and hommus around at reasonable prices.

I took my sister for dinner, we had never been there before. So delicious & really a lot of food. We had a $7 gift certificate & they were so nice & even made us feel more special. But mostly the kabobs were so tender & seasoned just right!

I have experience in Persian restaurant ,food was so tasty.very reasonable price ,and was excellent service ,try some free sample of mix rice from beginning ,very friendly staff ,and also they serve hookah .Don't forget to get the jewelry rice.
