Shame on you both... Mirage Pool is a company that simple does not complete there work... In the WSB News story the owner is quotes as saying he needs an investor to help him complete his work... He is simple performing a Ponzi scheme... Take money from the next guy to maybe pay for previous guys work but take a large percentage him self. His Hispanic workers complained while on our job (which never got past a hole in the ground) that they had not been paid in weeks. This guy will simple file for bankruptcy and get off with out even a fine. Now Kudzu.... As with Google... You need to investigate the 5 star ratings... Most of these folks are paid reviewers and people use your site and Google Map reviews to base their decision to go with a company... You either need to review and take down positive reviews that are obvious paid folks or shut down your site!

Our dig date was 12/9/16. All phases were going very quickly until the third installment check was paid getting us 95% paid. We've paid 63,000 of our $67,000 pool project as of 12/30/2016. Mirage Pools has 4 phases to pay per their contract. Buyer beware - do not pay according to their contract terms. We had a 73 day period after that 12/30/2016 check was given with lies and no work at all. Mid March they came out to do the Coping and again the lies have started and no work. We were told 45 days for this pool and what makes it worse is all the lies they continue to tell. We really would just like to have the work completed with an honest end date. We have 2 small children and our back yard is a total disaster. Here's our pool mess as of 4/12/17.

We completed a sign agreement to remove our old pool and install a brand new state of the art swimming pool which was to start on Nov. 1. Work didn't start until Jan. 1 (2 months later). Work seemed to be going along okay with the old pool finally removed until the health inspector came by and stopped work bc they didn't pull permits (As agreed that they would). Once the work was stopped we never saw them again. We are now looking for other pool companies. Sad really.

They are the worst pool company ever and similar to the 3 reviews next to ours, it's been a horrendous experience. It's been nearly 8 months and still not close to finishing and they have shown up 2 days in 8 weeks and excuses every time. The entire company lies and can't trust anything they say. Whatever you do, never use this company as they deserve to be out of business.

My wife and I contracted with Mirage Pools in April 2016 for a $100K+ pool. The contract states a 45-business day construction time (baring inclement weather). It is now 9 months later and they are not finished. We made payments on time yet still we have a lien on our house from a subcontractor they refused to pay. BTW the subcontractor did a great job in laying the paver. We were continentally told workers would be out tomorrow but it rarely happened . . . nothing but lies. We heard every excuse in the book except "the dog ate my keys". It has been over 2 months since anyone from Mirage has done any work. I have no confidence that they will ever finish. Other contractors have quoted $25K to finish the job. This is what I will be suing Mirage for. Don't make the same mistake we did...find someone else to build your pool.

Mirage Pools lies, cheats, makes numerous mistakes and won't pay their vendors. From beginning to end they continued to show they have no right running a pool business. It started with us having to hire our own tree removal service because their in house guy repeatedly didn't show. We had fencing in our contract as well but after repeated no shows we ended up removing it from contract and handling on our own. We were told lie after lie from Igor; we finally realized it was compulsive and he needs psychiatric help so we stopped engaging him. Chris the foremen tried his best to take care of issues that Igor would screw up but even he couldn't keep up with the amount of b.s. Igor would spread. The pool took 2 months longer than Igor "promised" us and it certainly didn't have anything to do with weather (we went 2 months without any rain this summer). Even after the above the worst was yet to come. We were slapped with 2 Liens on our property from unpaid vendors even though we had paid Mirage on time and in full. We discovered from the gunite company that Mirage was so far behind on payments that he had to place a total of 8 liens on Mirage customers. Our outrage is to the point we've involved a local news outlet. Bare in mind with everything above we still had numerous other issues; cracked driveway, turfed yard, missing color selections, and charging us for expensive pool lights then installing a cheaper substitute. *Stay as far away from Mirage Pools as you can.*
To build new pool at home we just bought.

Mirage put in my pool a year ago. Rust spots keep popping up on the sides and bottom of the pool because of bits of metal in the pebble product are rusting. Mirage uses C.L. Industries for their pebble. I was told by Mirage I wasn't the only one this had happened to. Neither C.L. Industries or Mirage seems apologetic surprisingly & these rust stains looks to be an ongoing problem I will have to deal with in the future. At the end of the 2 week pebble curing process brown lines appeared on the bottom of the pool that looks to be dirt that cured in. (I had my water tested and it's not a problem with metals in my county water.) Mirage told me they would chemically burn the pool to remove the stains. It's been over a year & I'm still waiting. I also have 4 unsightly cracks in the concrete decking of the pool that appeared after 2 weeks of the concrete being poured. Mirage came out & tried to "patch" them using a charcoal/black mixture that looks awful against the light gray concrete. The patches also didn't work. Cracks resurfaced. Now, I have cracks & a bad patch job. Mirage has promised for a year to cover the unsightly mess with a Kool Deck application. Year later I am still waiting. Oct. 31st this year, Mirage's General Manager came out to look at the pool & promised to take care of these problems within 2 weeks. Didn't happen & they won't respond now. Looking in to a class action at this point since I'm not the only one whose had problems with them.

The WORST experience we have ever had with any company! We gave a 50% deposit on June 10, 2016. As of today, not even 50% done. We have had to call ever couple of weeks asking when someone will be here to work on the pool remodel. They keep lying to us telling us someone will be out to finish the job, but never happens. The most we get is a couple guys working a day or two and then do not see anyone for weeks. The quality of work that has been done is not good. There is no one that oversees the project or inspects the quality. They were so eager to get our deposit, but are certainly in no hurry to complete the job. POOR customer service and communication. We have repetitively been lied to by Igor, Mandy and Chris. Would just like the job to be completed! We would NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
Mirage was hired to do a total pool / hot tub remodel. New tile, coping, pebble tech, build a water feature wall, add stone to existing fireplace and columns and apply cool decking to surface around pool. Change filter and add salt system. To this point, 21 weeks into project, the old tile and coping have been removed. Wall partially built. Tile installed on pool and hot tub. Coping installed partially on pool and hot tub.

I put in a request on their web site for a return phone call for a new pool. Mirage did call back very quickly, but I had another call and said I would call back in five minutes. I called back and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up. I called back an hour later, complained about the 20 minute hold and then was placed on hold again. After seven minutes, I called back from another line and told them that if this is pre sales support, there is no way I was going to spend $100k on a pool project. The person that answered the phone offered no apologies or seemed to care. I am taking my business elsewhere. I am happy they are so busy they do not want my business.

We are sincerely sorry that you had a bad experience when trying to speak with us about your pool. Our staff works very hard to provide excellent customer service, and this is not typical when working with our company. This has been addressed internally to ensure it does not happen in the future. If you still need information regarding a pool or if there is anything else we can help with, please do not hesitate to give us a call. We really appreciate your valuable feedback so we can address any areas that need improvement and provide the best customer experience possible!
We started building a pool with Mirage 6 weeks ago and while they've made great progress they are no where close to the schedule they quoted. Per them it should be done by now and we're sitting here it a concrete pool waiting for tile/stone work. They've promised to be here then don't show up, then promised again and again making excuses about weather and issues at the concrete plant. Work looks good, but getting very tired of excuses at this point.
Great pool options, happy with quality of work, just unreliable with timelines and seems to be a complete lack of project management.

Unbelievably poor customer service. Follow up non-existent. Promised work they did not know how to do. High worker turnover. Failed to complete work, stopped answering phone, extremely over priced.

When my wife mentioned she would like a pool, all I could think of was what a headache! I am very meticulous with my lawn and the thought of tractors, mud, debris and workers was just not something I wanted any part of. I would have never guessed that it would end up being the best decision I would make for our family. After research and careful consideration, we selected Mirage Pools to handle the project. Yes, I did have to tolerate the mud, workers and process that took place in building our pool, but it was not anything like I envisioned. Mirage Pools employees were courteous and considerate of our property and they did a great job in keeping us informed of each phase along the way. Now, rather then sitting and looking at a well manicured lawn, our family is enjoying quality time together in our own private oasis! Thank you Mirage Pools for a job well done! Roger

We had our first swimming pool built by Mirage Pools in 2014. And let me tell you, building a swimming pool is not a headache free endeavor. From a bulldozer tearing up your yard, to pallets of concrete and building material sitting around until needed, it's not easy. So the challenge is not how easy the project becomes, but rather how does the swimming pool contractor prepare for the problems and handle the unexpected. Mirage Pools could not have done better. They knew what they were doing and most of the credit goes to Chris Powell, who oversaw the project. He patiently answered our calls with "newby" questions and made adjustments to the project when necessary. Along the way we've had a problem or two. When we call, Chris takes our phone call and has it fixed with no argument or attempt to place blame elsewhere. To me this is what matters when dealing with a company or contractor - how does the company stand behind their work? Chris Powell is a great asset and representative for Mirage. I would like Mirage to please thank him for me. I would not hesitate to use him and Mirage again.

My kids can't wait to dive in their pool when Spring Break gets here. Mirage cam through, they said that it would be completed by Spring Break and here it is 4 days to Valentines day and there is water in the pool. I won my bet with the neighbors they said it would'nt be done until the middle of summer, I am glad we went with Mirage Pools.
