Worst (J) restaurant, What happened to Miyako?
7:30 reservation in hand, seated after 30 minutes. Ordered Steak and Shrimp, Chicken and Shrimp.Young couple presented Entertainment coupon. The waitress blurted, applied to Saturday Night seating after 9pm.Time was about 8:45 so the waitress blew the kids off. A pre-arranged speech from management? My steak was cooked properly, but the cut was very thin and had fat. The shrimp was fine. Chicken was over cooked. The stickiness (Grease) on my chair as I grabbed the back to sit down. Thats just part of everyday cleaning and you really dont notice that at a restaurant, unless its clearly noticeable. My bill for the four of us was over $110.00. Not bad for a good Japanese meal with a few drinks but pretty bad for just food and poor service. My desire to stay close to home is gone forever after eating at Miyako for the last time.
