Moda Hair Design and Spa

I have been looking for a place to get my hair done, since my hairdresser moved away. I tried several other places and was just never happy. I decided to give Moda a try, and I am so happy I did! I got a cut, blow dry, and manicure. My husband said I looked ten years younger when I got home! I really love the consultation, attention to detail, and service. Spending any money on my hair is a lot for me. But I found it worth it, and will certainly be back.

I did see color and highlights there on someone else, and they did look amazing. So I am thrilled to have a new place to go! I would highly recommend it. Elizabeth cut my hair. It is perfect!

I found out about a new salon in Plantation through my girlfriend who just had new highlights and hair color. After seeing her hair and hearing what great service she had received at Moda Hair Design and Spa I decided it was time to make a change and try a new salon. My hair was really frizzy and I wanted something that would help keep my hair straight. My stylist went over my options with me and we decided to go with full highlights and a Brazilian Keratin treatment. I am so glad I came to this salon, My hair turned out remarkable, the highlights were perfect and now my hair is straight and frizz free. I would recommend this salon to everyone. The staff is courteous and professional and the salon is immaculate and modern. Do yourself a favor and try this salon.

The first thing I noticed about this place was how friendly and professional the staff was, both on the phone while making an appointment and once I got to the salon. They offered me water or tea while I waited. My wait wasn't very long (I was early for my appointment) and the stylist lead me back to get my hair washed. While the conditioner was working it's magic, they treated me to a neck massage and hand massage. I received a scalp massage as part of the wash as well. It's all part of their relaxation treatments that are part of a standard haircut service. Once back in the chair, the stylist noticed problems with my hair due to a recent illness and she told be about a kerastase treatment that would ensure proper hair health and she also instructed me on ways to nurse my hair back to health and gave suggestions on the cut to greater complement what I had initially requested. I left as a 100% convert to this place and I will be going there for as long as I live here in Plantation. It's that good.

Absolutely the most fabulous salon in all of South Florida. The people here make your every visit so enjoyable! They really make you feel like family. I have always been very happy with all my services, the team goes above and beyond to make your crazy visions a reality! If you are looking for an exceptional salon, you must give them a try.

Moda Hair Design and Spa's owner Elizabeth Buitrago is the most experienced hair colorist and stylist I have ever used. Elizabeth puts the hair color directly on the roots which I find is the most difficult for other salons. Elizabeth experiance is unmatched as she was the training director for Wella International in Venezuela for several years and she has trained hundreds of people in the art of hair coloring. Her salon is so modern and beautiful and the staff there is very professional. I am so excited abouth this salon I have been raving about it to all my friends. I am going back next week for a facial, manicure and pedicure. The prices are very reasonable and the salon is located conveniently off the I-595 service road between Pine Island and University Dr. There address is 8280 W.
