Got a tattoo from Travis 7 years ago. Got a piercing from Rozz about 5 yrs ago. Both done wonderfully, professionally. Travis is an excellent artist, grade shading work! I have had so many compliments on my tattoo done by him. Plan to go back to get another one from Travis, if you are considering a tattoo, don't forget to check him out. He was kind and respectful even with it only being my second tattoo.

Monkey bones is far from being the best tattoo shop in Dayton. Went to appointments several times just to find out Mike was a no show. Finally got my tattoo finished to have him refuse to do the touch up. Had to pay Glen Scott to do a good touch up. From what I have heard I am not the only unsatisfied customer leaving monkey bones to go elsewhere.

I had drawn my own tattoo idea, took it in and made the first appt available with "Jim". Went in, Jim informed me he "lost [my drawing] it somewhere between home and work" and said give me a minute to draw something up. I wrote down the kids names. at 2:45 (my appt was for 1:30, his first appt of the day) "Jim" comes back with this crappily drawn rendition of what he thought I wanted. It was no where close to the drawing I had brought in (which I wanted to keep). He never once apologized for losing or having kept me waiting an hour and a half. I was so disappointed. I got my money back (thankfully) and now I'm going to Blue Bryd. I may go back to Monkey Bones, but I won't do business with Jim.
