We have been bringing our dog there for years and we have always felt that there is no better place for us. We recently brought our dog in to see Dr. Davis, the new owner, when our dog got a terrible case of bloody diarrhea. He was very thoughtful and knowlegable. They even called the next day to see how he was doing. I recommend Montrose to anyone.

I had a very impressive experience with Dr. Agda and Dr. Bondurant with my critically ill dog. I couldn't have asked for better care. Unfortunately, recently my cat became very ill, suddenly. The clinic has just been turned over to a new vet as Dr. Bondurant phases out. Dr. Agda is on maternity leave. I saw the new vet, Dr. Davis. Although nice,he seemed uncomfortable with treating the renal failure of my kitty. I left him for a day to receive IV fluids; was called at noon to pick him up because they couldn't get an IV in and he was extremely stressed (despite this, I was charged the full amount less the bag of fluids I provided). I was given instructions for an extreme amount of home infused subq fluids. Hesitant to give this amount, I did increase the fluids some, fearing fluid overload. I requested an anti-nausea drug typically used in felines with crf -and commonly given to children with nausea. This was refused, leaving me with no option to treat my poor cat's extreme nausea. 2 days later he developed respiratory distress and fluid on the lungs from the high volume of fluids. I took him to GVS and was told there was nothing they could do due to fluid overload - I had to put my sweet cat to sleep. Although certainly expected at some point due to the disease, it's my belief it was accelerated by the prescribed amount of fluids. There has been no follow up call from Montrose. I will use Dr. Agda when she returns, but no other vet in this clinic.

The reason I like Montrose for my dogs is that I get a sense that they like what they do and go they the extra mile to make me and my pet feel comfortable. Great communication throughout the whole experience. I tell everyone I know to go to Montrose.

This animal hospital is as good as it gets. The staff is caring, attentive, and professional. I have had the opportunity to work with each of the three vets at Montrose and they are all equally wonderful. Dr. Bondurant masterfully performed ACL surgery on one of dogs. Dr. Agda treated the same dog years later when she developed lung cancer. She treated our dear dog as if she were her own. Dr. Agda is a wonderful conventional veterinarian but also skillful in acupuncture and Chinese herbs, which was a refreshing option for us. She humanely kept our dog alive, with a wonderful quality of life, for much longer than any of us expected. When it was time to finally let her go last week, Dr. Webster was there to help during a very difficult time. Having had dogs and cats for 25+ years, I can honestly say this is the best veterinarian practice I have ever encountered. These are quality, caring folks and I highly recommend them.

This vet is the best I have ever been to or even heard of! I heard of them through a coworker and basically ran to them! Town and Country vet where I had been taking my dog was a nightmare! Montrose was so friendly and caring and clean and professional and informative and just all around Grade A! I think I told them 5-10 times how great they were! Please do not take your pet anywhere else! These guys are the greatest and I will back them up any day of the week! Thanks Montrose and thanks Dr. Webster. Brooke and Greg and Dakota!

Dr. Webster is very nice and appears to care about the animals a great deal. As other reviews have stated, the DRs seem good there are too many other problems to recommend this clinic. We have been taking our puppy to Montrose for about six months and have finally been forced to switch veterinarians due to incompetence and very poor communication. Techs appear lost and confused when asked basic questions. While boarded we asked them to check for a UTI and although one was found, it was not treated due to..? No one seemed to know but our dog kept getting sicker in their kennel despite our pointed request for treatment. Prices are also bizarrely high, even for this area. For us, this clinic has provided a combination of high prices and substandard care and we're moving on.

Way overpriced!! Annual visit for a 25 lb Boston Terrier cost me $180!! Not to mention his $1000 hernia surgery. I will never go back. I also requested a RX to be faxed to petmeds & they refused saying that I would have to come in to pick up a written RX - NOT CONVENIENT to the client. AVOID AVOID AVOID. The only good thing is Dr. Webster she is very nice & cares about my pets but not worth the overpriced care

We've had 5 dogs over the years, and I can't imagine anyone caring more than Montrose. Years ago, when our oldest was too sick and we had to put her to sleep, they actually came to the house and sat with us and took her out of her pain peacefully. By the way, the dog they put to sleep was a loving dog that lived a healthy 14 year life after four other vets said would not make it to be 2!

Took my Pug into get her nails trimed. They held her down and choked her with a muzzle to the point that she could not breath & her tonge turned black. When they were done she was put on the floor & collapsed. Give me a break - she's a Pug. Any teck should be able to handle a Pug. I asked for the Vet to come in & check her as I was pissed & freaked out. He came in - said she will be fine. When I checked out they charged me extra for the Vet to look at her. I don't even want to drive by the place!

Montrose is the third vet we have tried since moving here 5 years ago. The first two were atrocious. Montrose vets are very good; they obviously are well trained/educated and love animals. The techs they have on staff, however, are the opposite. Twice my dogs meds have been messed up, switched and mislabeled. The first time it happened, I could see why the tech was kept on staff, but the second time she should have been fired. In addition to the med problem, I had a less than satisfactory over the counter consult with a tech too. She gave me perfunctory and inadequate information and presented it as knowledge. We still go to Montrose because my dogs are very very old, but we will switch with the next puppy. It's a shame that the techs do not match the talent of the vets.

I am on my 16th year of dealing with Montrose. They are wonderful.I would not take my dog anywhere else for medical treatment or grooming. They are kind, considerate ,well trained+ truly love animals. This is reflected in their Behavior+ treatment of humans as well. I owe them so much for all they have done for my dogs. We would be very lucky to find a primary care physician's office as professional as these people are. Thank you guys for being the best at what you do.

We have always loved the DR, but were very disappointed when our dog had an accident & his ear was torn. The vet techs did not wrap the ear correctly & used ADHESIVE tape. Under the ear developed a yeast infection & when they took the tape off it tore off our dogs fur!! My heart ached for him when he yelped. I would recommend them to regular visits, but certainly special circumstances are not their forte.

Misdiagnosed our dog and sent her home. Very nonchalant as she got worse and died on the operation table. Left message she died on our phone...how cold!

Have used Montrose for years, but will be switching vets. Sent pet home from surgery with only anti-inflammatory (no pain meds), did not put drain in large tumor removal site & pet wound up w/severe infection. Prices have sky-rocketed.

I've taken my dog and cat here for seven years, and have been uniformly happy with the care they have received. It probably is a bit pricey but aren't our pets worth it for the peace of mind? When I had to put my cat to sleep they could not have been kinder. Highly recommend.
