Moorehead, Shannon MD

I am new to the area and considered all of her positive reviews before scheduling an appt with her & her clinic. She was very thorough in reviewing my patient & family history, and considered carefully all of my concerns. The support staff was great, too. Everyone followed up on lab & test results promptly. I'm very happy so far.

When I first went to Dr. Moorehead I was so frustrated from being told over and over again that my Dr. "couldn't find anything" to explain my symptoms. After being misdiagnosed in 3 appointments with my previous gyn, Dr. Moorehead correctly diagnosed me in about 5 minutes! I will be eternally grateful. She also spends so much time, which really increased my confidence. A great doctor!

Dr. Moorehead has been my doctor for many years. In 2006 I went to see her for my annual well woman exam and during the course of the exam she found a breast lump that I had missed. She immediately had me scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound which determined that I had breast cancer! I never would have known had Dr. Moorehead not been so comprehensive in her exam. I sincerely feel that she saved my life. Today I am cancer free and owe my early detection to Dr. Moorehead!

Dr. Moorehead is a wonderful doctor! She delivered both of my children and she has been such a great help in diagnosing and treating my post partum depression!
