Tim and his crew at Moore's Landscaping came to the rescue on our front yard. The waterline had to be replaced, which required basically our whole front yard to be dug up. Once the waterline contractor finished, Moore's Landscaping came in to grade, lay sod and do a little landscaping. They worked quickly and professionally. They also explained everything and followed through on their word. So happy with my front yard now!
Front yard was graded to even out the land, remove tree roots and rocks created by a new waterline. Sod was laid over the front yard. Plants and mulching were updated in a front bed.

Measure twice, cut once! Tim Moore apparently has never heard this saying. Misquoted on flagstone steps and sod. Frequently said " I have sunk and lost too much $$ on this job". Not our fault Mr. Moore!!!!! Disrespectful to me. If you ask a question be prepared to be "belittled" — —he needs to educate people and not shame them. He was short on both flagstone steps and sod!! Then comes time for the fence. He had not even ordered it because the day before he brings a section over to see if it matches-really? He assured us the color would be no problem BUT we are assuming that since he misquoted on the steps and sod that we went CHEAP on the fence( as a last minute thing) to save him money!!!! His crews were wonderful, especially Matt. Tim Moore is rude and extremely unprofessional. I can not recommend him at all. We made the mistake of telling him we had a quote from someone else. He assured us that he would be cheaper. WELL the other quote included a custom fire pit too. Take that price off and guess what— same

When we chose Moore's to mulch our extensive landscaping last spring, we were hoping to find someone we could use with confidence in the future and Tim has been great. We have since had him rework a water feature and repair a stone walkway in addition to mulching again this year. You will likely think of Tim as a friend after your encounter.

I don't usually take the time to review businesses, but when I noticed the one negative review here, I had to speak up. I am sooooo glad I didn't see JimBot6's review here before I called him, because it might have given me pause. I called Tim because a friend told me what a great job he did on their stone retention wall. I don't really think you could possibly do better than Moore's Landscapes. Tim and his crew were above-and beyond professionals and I couldn't be happier with the end results. All I can say is that, JimBot6's description of his experience couldn't be further fro my own. Tim was clearly concerned with our satisfaction and left us 100 percent confident that we can always rely on him in the future. As soon as we have the money to redo our back yard, Tim will be the only one I even think about calling!

Project: Backyard flagstone patio & walkways, retaining walls, drainage system, associated landscaping Summary Review: Moore's Landscaping made numerous promises that were not kept, refused to acknowledge or fix installation errors, frequently did not show up when scheduled, did not properly prepare the flagstone bed, left the yard torn up and in a mess, did not complete the landscaping and drainage system as originally discussed, added about 20% to the project cost to cover things they "forgot" about or failed to adequately plan for. Impressions: Moore's Landscaping is a small, underfunded and poorly equipped start-up, which, actually, was okay by us. We like to give small companies a chance to build their businesses. We made a huge mistake with Moore's Landscaping, however, and we relearned the lesson: get it in writing. Tim Moore talked a good story at the sales end, but did not deliver at the execution end. We trusted that he would do a professional installation at a fair price and that we could leave the project in his hands since we did not have the time or expertise to manage it ourselves. We were acutely disappointed. After several failed attempts to get Tim to acknowledge his mistakes and fix them, we gave up. He continues to deny the issues and will not accept responsibility for them beyond a quick fix that will, in the long run, fix nothing. We have decided to just get someone else to fix it the right way.
