Mortgage One

I have bought sold and refinanced several properties over the years and Mortgage One is the best I have dealt with. Nothing but honestly from this company.

One thing that impressed me on my last purchase is Todd caught something at the closing table that was not a part of the original estimated closing costs. Evidently the attorney had a few extra hidden fees that were not in my favor to the tune of about $2,000. Todd caught it and fought hard for me to get the charges reversed.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mortgage One, where we've worked with Todd B. Todd and the rest of the team is more customer-focused than any brokerage I've worked with. Todd helped us secure a great loan many years ago, and was a pleasure to work with back then.

More recently, we thought there could be some advantages to refinancing. Todd asked us several questions about our situation and future plans, then actually steered us AWAY from refinancing during a time brokers are doing everything they can just to stay in business. Hopefully this gives you a feel of what it is like working with Todd and the Mortgage One team. They truly put the customer first and help you to do what's right for you, even if it means little/nothing for them. Other brokers might have access to solid loan programs (as does Mortgage One), but this level of service and care is hard to come by. Highly recommended.

We have worked with Todd Bowser for three mortgages/refinances over the years. He is always helpful and does a great job of explaining the process. He even suggests things you can do to get a better rate, improve your FICO score, etc.

I don't know what they're suggesting right now with rates potentially going up, but they have always set us up with some kind of ARM. The only thing I would say (not necessarily a negative though, considering that rates were staying low) is that they have usually steered us away from a traditional fixed 30 year mortgage. However, they take the time to show you the difference between all the available options, so that you can make an informed decision for yourself.

If your in need of a mortgage for a new house or a refi make sure you call these guys. Greg was awesome in helping teach my wife and I what was the best mortgage for us. He was even at closing making sure everything went well. This was the 3rd mortgage I've had (countrywide and Home Banc) and hands down these guys are the best. Do yourself a favor and talk to them last, you'll be glad you did.
