Mount Carmel is a small, Christian school which delivers a varied educational program which would be the envy of a much larger school. The teachers are all well-trained and professional. The STEM curriculum is challenging; students are involved in science, technology, engineering, and math integrated lessons. The learning environment is a loving and encouraging one. This school is a great value and one that should be considered for your child.

My children went to school here for several years and I have to say that the quality of the teachers (especially the principal) rapidly declined...as have the enrollment numbers. One of my children was routinely bullied and despite contacting the teachers and principal nothing was done. My wife and I ceased to see the love of Christ in the teachers as well...it was a very sad situation for a school that used to boast high enrollment. Also, the school is racist in that African-Americans are studied for an entire month while other races are ignored. The current principal will appear to be very nice but he has a very vengeful dark side...watch out.

This small, affordable, Christian school provided my son with a good solid christian education. They have low student/teacher ratios, involved & concerned teachers and an active Church community. They have pre-K through 8. My son was well prepared with study skills, life skills and social interaction to go on to a larger school.

This is my daughter's first year at Mt. Carmel and I have been more than pleased with the education she has received thus far. Not only do they teach kids to read, write and perform arithmetic in Kindergarten, but they also teach the students how to disicpline themselves and they hold each and every student accountable (as well as the parents). My daughter has been given responsibilities, which I feel build a good work ethic in the long run. The biggest plus of all is the teachers have an open line of communication that helps me to know where my child is academically. Praise God for such loving, kind and caring teachers and staff.
