I have seen two different doctors at Mount Vernon Eye Care, they were very courteous and professional, unfortunately I can not say the same for "the office".
I provided the office with my insurance card at my last visit and they advised me (words to the effect) that your insurance does not cover this. I advised them that I believe that it did but they insisted that I make full payment immediately.
A few weeks later I looked at the insurance providers Website and noticed that the office had not submitted a claim so I contacted them and asked them to please do so. A few weeks later, I checked the Website again and saw that reimbursement was made so I contacted the office and requested a refund (reimbursement), for the duplicate payment.
When they did not respond to my numerous requests, I contacted the Better Business Bureau and that's when "the fun" started.

Thank you Dr. Rondowsky! Because of this man, my eyesight was saved. I had to have emergency surgery due to retinal tears & after numerous calls to other doctors around the area - he was the only one who went back to his office & assisted me in getting the proper care that night. He truly represents a caring, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. Thank you.

I came in to browse for frames and when I talked with a male assistant in his 40s, I didn't get a polite impression from him. No smiles, and I felt like he didn't like helping me.
