I used to bring my cats and dog here. At one appointment, the vet examined my cat and said his teeth were fine. That night I noticed a tooth hanging out of his mouth. When I went back, no one seemed to care that they didn't catch it. Then they did a tooth extraction, charged me full price and another $40 post-surgery visit. When I complained they said (basically): 'we're sorry you feel that way'. I now bring my animals to Village Vets down the road.

I like this clinic, the staff is nice, but I feel like I'm nickeled and dimed to death every visit. I do feel pressured to due certain procedures that are recommended. And I feel like the fees seem to change...so I usually ask the specific fees before I have anything done with my animal. They are very unhappy when you purchase heartworm supplies through the internet. They will ask for the website so they can report them. Overall I will continue to go there but I wish they were not so pushy and more upfront with the fees.

I took my cats to the clinic when we first moved to town for their annual exam and vaccinations. The staff was friendly and the doctors and technicians seemed to love animals and were very sweet. The only complaint I have is that I felt very pressured to buy certain meds and to do certain tests for my cats. I don't mind being told about new products, but I definitely felt pressured. Both my cats are healthy and I always take them to the vet when needed. I just do not want to do tests without warrant. One cat is considered a senior and I was told she would have to get blood work done at her next appt. I just didn't feel like it was necessary since she exhibits no signs of a problem.

Our pets have been cared for at MPAH for years. Annual checkups, shots, surgeries and boarding. Everyone is wonderful with the animals. Last year our 46 pound baby was hit by a car in front of our house (she got out of the gate). Dr. B and her staff saved her life working quickly and decisively, while keeping in mind that our financial pockets did have limits. We are blessed to have MPAH in our community.

These doctors are truly caring and compassionate. They take excellent care of my dogs and cats. They now have a new doctor who also sees small furry pets (pocket pets) and birds! Give them a try - you will not be disappointed!
