Called for service. Was told the dispatch fee was $29.99 and a technician would check the problem and provide a estimate to repair. The technician showed up as scheduled (good). I explained him the issue. Then he said, almost touching/checking nothing,it would cost me $375 to diagnose the problem. We declined. Then he started recommending us to join a membership program, which would cost $400+. We paid $29.99 dispatch fee and let him go. I complained to the office and the office lady told me manager would call me back soon. Of course it never happened. Next day,I called other electric contractor. The technician found the problem, repaired it in 30min and cost me $90.

Had some electric work done for several hundred dollars. Same issue same up within a week and second technician tried to charge another hundred dollars. Then he was very rude and asked me what my problem was and told my husband that some people couldn't be pleased, referring to me. I called the office to complain about his confrontational demeanor and they reassured me he was totally unprofessional and someone would call me back about it. No one ever did.

We had 2 12" LED and 2 LED 24" under the cabinet lights installed recently. in preparation, we removed the existing lights and purchased the four LED's. The electrician was courteous and did a good job. He installed the four lights in about a bit over an hour. He provided a few small parts needed to complete installation using the exposed wiring at each of the four locations. All for $345.00.

Called yesterday and made an appointment from between 8am and 12. The man at Mr. Electric said someone would call me 30 minutes before. I took off work to meet with them and no one ever called or showed up!! Wasted my whole day, missed work and a day off my paycheck!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I had a breaker tripping and causing my stove to stop working,I called a couple of companies and Mr Electric was the only one that could come out in a couple of hours. Their office called and told me Chris was on his way and 40 min later he was at my door. He thoroughly diagnosed by problem, put in a new breaker. He was efficient , nice and knowledgeable.. Great company.

You can do better. Check out a smaller family-owned business (or the like) who actually have pride in their work and honesty. Advertise a $29.95 'service call' which is actually nothing more than a dispatch fee (the charge for showing up to your door, includes NO diagnostic work at all). Will charge you for repairs even if none are done, although there is an option for just a 'diagnostic fee' that they won't tell you about. Taking the flat rate from these guys is cheating yourself. You'd be better off picking someone off craigslist.

We recently purchased an older home in Atlanta where we needed a new electrical panel to replace an old dangerous fuse panel. Mr. Electric came when they said they would, gave us a price for this and several other items (new circuits in the kitchen and can lighting). The work was done with no hassles , for the price quoted. Dealing with contractors can be difficult -Mr. Electric made it easy. Ask for Chris - he was great.
