The tool he used to scrape out the old grout slipped in several places and damaged my bathroom tile. Unfortunately, there is no way to repair the scratched tile.

Several months ago Sallyws50 asked me to re-grout and re-caulk two tub areas and the remaining tile in both bathrooms. Unfortunately my tool slipped and left a small scratch on an older four inch lemon yellow tile. Quality and craftsmanship are of the utmost importance to me and several times during the three trips it took to complete the project she told me how pleased she was with how re-grouting made her bathrooms look new. The scratch I am aware of happened near the end of the third day. I was truly embarrassed by the error and when she asked me how much of a discount I was going to give her, I told her that because of the total size of the job, the work done that final day would be at no charge. After receiving several quotes on having our shower repaired, it was a relief to have Tom present us with some fair and more reasonable options than what we had been presented by other companies. Our shower, which is at least twenty years old looks brand new. Tom was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. We will be calling Mr. Grout in the future for all of our tile installs or repairs!

We used Mr. Grout's services on our upstairs shower. Before, the shower was very moldy looking along the grout and caulk lines. Additionally, we were missing some caulk in the corner of the shower where most of the water hit. I was very concerned that the mold might trigger allergies and that the missing caulk might allow water damage to occur in the wall. Tom came out, cleaned everything up, and now the shower looks brand new. No more mold and the grout and caulk look perfect. I think we can easily get another 10 years after this process (plus a coat of paint on the walls). Thanks!

I needed a cracked floor tile replaced and cracked grout around that same piece in one bath and tear out and re-grouting of some very stained floor tile grout in another bath. Tom did a great job. The quality was excellent and he his very nice to deal with. Very professional. Thanks!

$675 to grout parts of 3 bathrooms and caulk same. He did do a good job, but when I asked him about another area, he said, "I wish you had told me about that before." It was about 3:00 and I think he wanted to go home. In hindsight, I think about $350 would have been a fair price.

I'm very disappointed to hear that one of my clients is not totally satisfied with their experience. Not only do I pride myself with the quality of work that I do, that pride extends to the open communication I share with all my clients about the work they want to have done, the work I feel needs to be done and why, and then of course price. If budget is a concern I try to present options and I'm not pushy. I encourage potential clients to reflect upon what we discussed and to ask questions. If my price is to high, its always their prerogative to say no. Because the re-grouting process can drastically improve the look of an area, some clients want to include other areas that we didn't previously discuss. If possible I always try to accommodate their wishes. However sometimes that area may be too close to or above an area already worked on and debris would be falling onto or getting into materials that are freshly applied and not yet dry thus ruining the job. I encourage stravis2 to contact me about their experience at any time so that we may discuss these points further. Tom Bass aka Mr.Grout
Tom came and gave me an honest and straightforward explanation for what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He showed up on time and did the job as expected. Great company to work with!

We researched reviews on Kudzu and several other web sites and found Mr. Grout to be highly regarded. In addition we solicited 3 estimates and Mr. Grout was very competitive. Mr. Grout aka Tom Bass is very professional and polite. We will definitely call Mr. Grout again when the need arises.

The tile guys that installed our shower tile originally did a terrible job with the grout/caulk lines. We hired Tom to try to correct their mistakes and he did an AMAZING job!! He scraped out all of the old grout and caulk and finished the project the way it should have been done in the first place. Excellent work, Tom!

Tom did a great job making my old shower look new! And he was a super nice guy, as a bonus. There's a huge value in hiring people that I'm comfortable leaving in my house while I run carpool or go to a meeting! Thanks Tom!

Tom responded quickly to our need for bathtub grout repair to fulfill contractual obligations for selling our home. He explained the problem simply and matter-of-factly, proposed what he thought was the best solution, then made the repair for a reasonable price. Very straightforward, great to work with.

Is the grout in your shower area tired looking, molding or falling out?
Is the caulk turning colors or worse, cracking, leaving holes that water can get through which can result in damage to the sheetrock walls (see photos)?
Then please give me a call.
Regrouting is a very affordable way to spruce up the look of the existing tile in your bathroom and at the same time help prevent costly repairs.
Perhaps tiles are already coming loose and the wall has become soft and needs to be replaced. Or the plumber had to open the wall to make a repair! I have the expertise to get your walls back together and make your bath area look as good as new.
As a customer myself, I appreciate straight forward, honest talk and quality craftsmanship.
Give me a call and I promise that's what you'll get from me. I'll give you a quality job and I'll treat your house as.. my own.
