After appointment, I called Mr. Handyman to perform minor electrical work in my house in Great Falls, Virginia. The Technician arrived on time and allowed me to explain the work to be done. He informed me, how much time he will take which I found to be reasonable. He was very attentive and immediately started his work. While I was busy with other things in the house, he performed his work very professionally and quietly. He finished in time and also cleaned up the work site after finishing. He also gave me useful tips on maintenance. Overall, he was very polite and had an excellent demeanor. I would be using Mr. Handyman again for other general services to be performed in my house and also recommend them to my friends.

I'd like to rate these people with no stars at all, but apparently I can't post it that way, so I gave them one. I am VERY unhappy with the service they provided. To begin, the workman informed me immediately that all of his tools had been stolen from his truck the week before, so I have no idea why he was even sent to my house. Nevertheless he was able to perform some of the work. He left a huge mess in my dining room after installing a light fixture, which I had to clean up, and speaking of installing lights, it took him at least 1-1/2 hours to replace light fixtures in my dining room and bathroom, after I was told that he was a licensed electrician. I've had friends install fixtures for me in the past who had no license and they did it in less than an hour. I felt he was stretching it out so he could charge me more, but maybe he just didn't know what he was doing...bad news, either way. The workman was sort of gruff and unfriendly and unprofessional and frankly, I just wanted the guy to hurry up and finish and leave. I can't say enough bad things about Mr. Handyman. I recommend you find someone else to do your work.
