Large farmhouse just outside historic Abilene, Kansas originally opened in the 1930's. Hosted such notable celeberties as Dwight and Mammie Eisenhower, Jimmy Stewart, Marlin Fitzwater and Several bus loads of musicians from the big band era. Sits high on a hill surrounded by tall pine trees and plenty of open farm fields. We love this place! Good, old-fashioned food in a charming farmhouse atmosphere. The service is friendly, and nearly every table looks out over the rolling fields.
