They either dont have the knowledge of modern cars (i.e. computers) or just dont have a clue, but they had my 1999 Hyundai in there for 3 days before giving up on my automatic transmission. took to the dealer(Jim Ellis)simple shift sensor...$200.00. Don't waste your time here.

This person has never been to my shop. Please give me a call at the shop so can rectify this situation. I think this person has my shop mixed up with another location.
I took my Grand Cherokee to Aamco to check my transmission. After a long wait they told me it needed to be rebuilt. I wanted a second opinion, so a friend told me about Mr. Transmission. Mike (the manager) and Scott checked my truck right away and after about 30 minutes they informed me that I needed a speed sensor and a pan gasket. The cost was 197.00. I asked what I could do for them they said just tell someone about us.

I was spectical on service because of a bad review. After calling and talking to Mike (the manager) I felt confident and took my car to them. The repair was done in a quick and a compettive rate. Plus I was sent there by Goodyear in Toco Hills.

I brought my Lexus in to have the transmission rebuilt. Weeks after they "fixed" it, I started hearing noises that progressively got worse every time I would make a turn. I did some internet research and thought I was having a problem with the ball joints or the brakes. I took my car to the Lexus dealership because it got to the pick where my car would "skate" on the highway when I would make a slight turn. It turns out, the cover to my transmission was coming lose and as the Lexus mechanic put it, "flying in the wind". I could have gotten into an accident and be held liable because of this! The Lexus dealership charged me $99.50 to fix there mistake (the had to move my engine in order to get to the screws). I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Trans still will not reimburse me for their sloppy, potentially hazardous work. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!!!

I took my Honda Accord into Mr. Transmission believing that my transmission was totally messed up. And I made the mistake of telling them this. They checked it out and told me that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. I wanted to get a second opinion and because we were getting married in about a month we decided to just wait to get the car fixed. (we also have a thrid car that I was able to drive) After our wedding we took it some where else and all that needed to be done was it needed a new battery. The transmission is fine. They tried to take advantage of me. I wouldn't trust these guys.
