Mr. Transmission of Marietta

For 2,700 I had my transmission replaced about 18 months ago. There were problems about a year end though fortunately the warranty had not expired. My car died yesterday and when I called the owner he said I could bring it in but it would take them half a day to run the diagnostics. He implied that it could take a day or more to get the necessary parts. Further, he failed to mention that Mr. Transmission SUPPOSEDLY offers free tows -- I only learned that later when scanning the website. Forget these guys I took the car elsewhere. They serviced it with a smile -- and put a linkage on rightside up -- the one that Mr. T had put on upside down....

These people fixed my transmission by doing a complete rebuild. (It costs over $3,000) Within a week the transmission broke on the highway! I had to get a tow truck, and they didn't want to pay for that. It was their problem, apparently they built the transmission wrong. It was under warranty, but their attitude was really bad at this point. They had to spend a lot of time and money fixing their mistake. They told me to sell the car. (Probably so that I won't bring it back again with more problems.) It actually took 1 month before I got my car back! This all happened about 1 year ago. I hope they have fixed their customer service since then.

Tim, the Mgr was especially pleasant, true to his word when followup calls were needed, and with the quoted estimate. He put me at ease and was honest. My car was ready BEFORE I expected. BTW, when I needed a ride to pick my car upnone other than Mike Cook (Owner) came to get me, got me there, and beat me to the door to open it for me. All I can say isWOW! Great Job!...

The front right side of my car would not turn left for some reason. So AAA recommended Mr Transmission of Marietta. They took my car in, completely swept my car for any issues throughout the entire car, and compiled all the issues for me when they did not have to. They not only fixed my car but explained all the issues to me in full detail and were very helpful. I would recommend going to this location for any issues you may have with your car. Everyone was generous, insightful, and willing to help no matter the issues.

Transmission started acting up on a rainy evening. I remembered being referred to Mr Transmission of Marietta by my regular mechanic. Drove in and got an immediate diagnostic code reading. That relieved most of my concern. Took the truck in the next morning and before noon, I not only had a firm diagnosis, but the truck was repaired and ready to be picked up. They could have taken 3-4 days and I would have understood. Lucky it was something simple, but super thankful for the quick service and accommodating attitude of Mark and others at the shop. Highly recommend!! Thanks, Mark for your help.
