I have been to Mt Fuji at least a dozen times over the last 4-5 years and have always had a good experience. The hibachi chef Julio is hilarious. I would recommended this place.

I have been going to MT Fuji for over two years and it has yet to disappoint. Sure the wait is long at the sushi bar but in the restaurant business that is a good thing. The owner, Don, is the only sushi chef and he makes sure that the fish is the best available. The pieces are big and the prices are fair. Not to mention he gets to know his clients and after going there a few times you get the feeling that you are in the show "Cheers" since there are so many regulars. My mouth is watering and I think it is time for some sushi! Sayonora

Everyone is helpful, people have been known to criticize for wait time, but if there was no wait wouldn't that be suspicious? Chef's are great, food quality is Excellent, and server's are attentive! And the Sushi bar may be .50 cents more, but you get larger portions, and better product! I highly reccomend making a reservation on the weekends, but during the week you can walk right in!

The quality and service is not always really consistent. If it's busy when you arrive, you're going to be there for a while becuase they are not very fast. The food is usually pretty good, as is the atmosphere.

I've always had problems with Asian food sitting funny on my stomach. But never at Mr. Fuji. The sushi is delicious. I just wish the food prepared on the hibachi was more consistent. But the staff is great and the food is generally yummy.

My family and I tried Mt. Fuji again for the first time after a bad experience two years ago. We will not be going back! We went in skeptical and let the staff know of our bad experience and that we hoped a more pleasant evening would follow. It didn't... We had reservations and were seated late due to another party that had arrived late. We also learned they only had two chefs working the grills (on a Saturday night at 8pm). From the time we were seated until the chef arrived at our table it was 50 minutes our soup and salad has long since been finished. The "show" was almost nonexistant and the chef didn't even cut the shrimp. My 8yr old wasn't even impressed. He loves these places and even said it was lame. The food was good and once we received it we were enjoying it, until my son noticed a BUG crawl across the table. That bug turned out to be a ROACH. We trapped it under his drink glass and notified the server. She proptly replaced the drink and didn't acknowledge the bug. We asked to speak with management but they were too busy cooking. We were never compesentated and still had to pay a bill for a dinner we were not going to eat. Needless to say we have notified the Health Department!

I went here last weekend for a party, we had reservations. They made us wait 40 minutes past our reserved time, the waitress was very nasty about my friend ordering Sushi and told her it would take over an hour to get the order. My friend went and got her own sushi from the bar in ten minutes, the food was overpriced for what you recieved and the waitress messed up all the orders. I would not recommend this restruant to anyone. Try Kani House in woodstock they are awesome.

I don't eat sushi so I can't comment on that. I love a good Japanese steak house-I go for the sauces and fried rice-YUM! The service is just ok and the sauces are not my favorite. The have bean sprouts as part of the veggies, who eats those?

The Sushi here is probably with out a doubt the best in town, if you want a great show go to the yakitori side and order the lobster and steak, then while watching a great show.. grab some of their mouth watering sushi, Art work with food is an understatement.. they are pricy and don't have a value meal menu, but if you want entertainment and the best sushi in atlanta, yes atlanta go here..

Definitely one of the best. I heard rumors that chef Don will go back to Japan. I hope this isn't true for his delicacies and warm services surely surpassed other sushi places.

the BEST sushi anywhere I'd say and I just returned from Japan. Chef Don is not selfish, he's very creative and has a great ear. Just talk about a certian sushi and it might appear in front of you. He's not a chef he's an artist! I have never had a bad meal there and I've been going for over 5 years. NO I don't own stock but I wish I did. I can't speak personally for the "cooked" food but friends say it really good.
