STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! This guy will take your money and do nothing! We ended up completely shafted in a child support modification because of him. He should not be practicing law! He has been sued by others and should have been disbarred.

Do not hire Ed Murray! We hired him in 2012 and paid him a lump sum up front (I know; big mistake). He was okay the first week or so, after that - watch out! He completely disappeared. We got a huge run around from his inept office. Do yourself a favor - find a reputable attorney! This guy is a pompous jerk.

Ed Murray is the absolute worst attorney I have EVER dealt with. I seriously regret ever hiring him. We had to fire him and hire another attorney & when we received our refund he charged us for a bunch of worthless work! The attorney we hired to replace him had to RE-DO everything he did because it was all wrong. Ed would say he was going to take a certain action and then not follow through! For example, Ed said someone would be served "by the end of the week" but then weeks later we found out he was still "working on it". He would not return phone calls & would ditch us when we needed answers. His wife would repeatedly ask for information we had already provided and this was NOT a complicated case at all. Firing this guy was the best decision we ever made. Ed Murray doesn't use retainer agreements and that should be a BIG red flag. I'm not just someone who didn't like a certain result. I am a client who did not get any service for what I paid. I don't know if he's lazy, incompetent or a combination of the two. I learned that if you have a case in Paulding County, you don't necessarily need to use an attorney IN the county - just one who is willing to practice in Paulding County. Go to Atlanta if you have to but steer clear of this guy!
