After months of searching, we chose to enroll our 3 1/2yr old son at MRTG about 6 mo ago. Choosing a new childcare center for our little ones can be so nerve-wracking. You put the fate of your precious children in strangers hands. How did we know we'd made the right decision? When our son woke the day after his first day and was ECSTATIC to go back to school. This had not been our experience with the previous childcare center we used. 6 mo later, he still loves going to school. As many of the previous posts have mentioned, the teachers are fantastic! They have been instrumental in helping our son learn numbers, the alphabet, cognitive and social (THANK YOU!) skill; even teaching him how to put on his socks! He looks forward to playing with his friends and showing off his class work. Working with Marina has been great! She cares about her staff and her students. When my husband was diagnosed and entered treatment for cancer over the summer, our son struggled emotionally and would often act out. Marina and his teachers provided the additional support he and our family needed during this difficult time. They are truly a blessing and we're so glad we chose MRTG.

My son started at MRTG in March of 2012 after we pulled him from another school in North County. One of the main reasons I went looking for a new preschool for him was a need for consistency and stability in staff - I found this here in spades. The teachers care about the children and they work together as a cohesive unit to ensure that your child is always taught, loved and cared for. My son was in need of just that and I can't thank the teachers enough for their support and patience. Recently going through a divorce can make it tough to adjust and they were always there to help us through it, as was the school Director, Marina. She has been incredibly supportive and helpful to my family during this tough transition. I am forever grateful for her ability to communicate often and effectively so that the parents are always in the loop on activities and on their child's progress. She and her hand selected staff care deeply for this school and the children who are taught there each day. I can honestly say we will be sad to say goodbye in August when my son starts Kindergarten. Call them, visit, you will feel what a comfortable and safe environment it really is.

My daughter has been going here for the last 3 years. We started her at 18 months. She has learned so much, my favorite is when she comes home sining new songs and telling me what she learned. The real reason we go here is for the teachers. They are the most wonderful caring and thoughtful teachers. My MIL is a teacher and cant believe the prep work that goes into the crafts they do. My daughter has tons of friends there and cant wait to go in the mornings. My son is almost 18 months and will start there in a month. There is a new cook since 2010, Miss Lina who is WONDERFUL! New outdoor playground equitpment. Would HIGHLY reccomend!

Worst director I have ever met!!!! I have never been treated so rudely before (by the director & owner Marina) and the communication is horrible! There were a number of reasons why we took my son out of the preschool. First, they turned his brand new back-up shirt into a rag and ripped off the sleeves (and the director never apologized and in fact blamed it on me). Then they continued to mix up his sheets and blanket with other children's sheets/blankets (even though his name was on it). There were also numerous occasions where I witnessed children being left unattended. We were also not notified when pictures we ordered came in. I could go on and on about other problems but what shocked me the most was that when I gave our 2 week notice, the director never even bothered to ask why we were leaving (or that they are sorry to see my son leave) and in fact said "we have a child waiting for a spot so I will tell them it's open". What kind of owner and director doesn't want to know why they are losing a client???!!! I would not recommend this place at all!!!

My Room to Grow is a wonderful preschool with caring teachers who show children love and praise. My daughter was enrolled from the time she was 2 until just a few weeks ago when she graduated. She is prepared for kindergarten and loved the environment at My Room to Grow. The director is very flexible with schedules and is always willing to discuss your child's progress. My younger daughter will also attend My Room to Grow when she is ready for preschool.

This is a great preschool! Caring teachers, fun activities, and meals and snacks are included! The prices are very low compared to others that we looked at, and the staff is always helpful and organized. Highly recommended.
