They dont accept walk-ins so I asked if they had anything available, they gave me an appt. that same day for 10am. I arrived at 9:50a, filled out the new patient paperwork that wasnt available online and was called back by 10:30a. The nurse checked my vitals and told me everything the dr. was going to do/ask. 30 secs later the dr. was in reviewing my medical history, left so i may disrobe, and came back for the procedure (pap). The information afterwards, was given both verbally and via handout. It was spacious, clean, not crowded, and organized. Appt was at 10a, I was walking out by 11:30 w/ rx in hand. (No, I did not feel rushed at all) I'd recommend this office. Absolutely. Also, I had no insurance so it made me feel they cared when they took into consideration how much things cost before just running a bunch of random tests.

It's sad how much this practice has gone down hill. When I first started seeing Dr. Royster (who is still fantastic) I could call and usually get an appointment within 24-48 hours and barely even sat down in the waiting room before being taken back to the room. Now it's more difficult to schedule appointments, I have to play tons of phone tag if I have a question, and the wait, oh dear, the wait. Had a 3:45 appointment two weeks ago, actually saw the doctor close to 6pm. Overbooking? Lack of funding? The waiting room used to have a nice flat screen tv, plants, etc., and now there are no plants and wires hanging from the walls :(

My 1st visit consisted of an incorrectly scheduled appt. and me having to wait longer. I disregarded this as just a little mistake, no one is perfect. And the front staff was polite. But then I was instructed to call for my results (no problem),but it took 2 days for a return call. Finally I was told the results required additional testing b/c there were some concerns. The "C" (cancer) word was thrown around. So I'm concerned. Made the appt. for the following week and was ready to ask questions and gain some relief. What I gained was a mountain of stress. Once again the appt. was schedule incorrectly. They didn't even know why I was there and had not contacted the insurance company for the pre-cert. After waiting 45 mins to be called, I waited an additional 1hr unclothed and unattended in a less than sterile room (filled with tool boxes like my husband's) for this procedure. I decided to leave and the doctor strolls in and says "You're leaving, well take care." No apology offered or anything. He, Nicholai Hinds, was very nonchalant about it. I will not recommend them to anyone.
