Bought 6 pallets of Zeon Zyosia from them for about $300 more than their competitors (but they had it the weekend we needed it). They did deliver on time, but when the grass wouldn't grow (waited patiently 2 weeks) we had a lawn maintenance company come out to investigate. They discovered we had an 'army worm' infestation and needed to spray for them. The maintenance company said this wasn't uncommon and that the sod company should pay the $40 for them to come spray. When we called NG turf they quickly declined any assistance and said since we had waited 2 weeks they couldn't be liable and probably some 'moth' laid eggs or something. After paying a hefty $1500 for the sod I expected a little bit more in the way of customer appreciation. Needless to say, I won't be using them for my sod when I do my front yard next year and I do not recommend them. For the extra price and rude service I know I can do better.

Fall army worms are easily treated once identified with a simple soap solution. (See NG Turf's resources page for instructions). The armyworm moth lays egg clusters that are green, blue or gray on grass blades, patios, tables, chairs and even walls. The caterpillars hatch 3 to 7 days later and begin to feed on grass that is lush, green and well fertilized, ie: fresh sod. For more information, visit UGA's website. NG Turf prides itself on superior customer service and has trained turf professionals to assist with all customer calls.
As the owner of a large, high-end landscape company, the most important attribute of a supplier is their ability to be a partner rather than just a vendor. NG Turf recognizes that premium quality product and proactive service help us differentiate ourselves from the competition.

Whether we have an order for 10 pallets or 40 pallets of sod, North Georgia Turf comes through with flying colors. Not only are the customer service reps friendly and professional, they are intensely knowledgable about the different types of sod available. Our company usually requires a delivery within 24 hours of the order and NGT does not let us down! Mary - Ashford Gardeners, Inc.

North Georgia Turf is a provider of quality turfgrass. We use them almost exclusively to service ouor customers. We beleive that there is only one opportunity to get a sodded lawn done right and that is upon installation. We can't afford to have the results of our sod installation be anything less than stellar. We've been doing business with NGTURF for over 20 years. They're always on time. Large or small orders, no problem. Sod is top quality and their excellent sales staff is always available to answer questions or give advise. You won't find a better company to buy from or a better group of people to deal with anywhere. They're great!! Larry V. Taylor Accent Nursery & Landscaping

When we decided to re-sod our back lawn North Georgia Turf provided excellent advice and service. We were able to see various types of turf before hand and select the one we liked best, based on key criteria (location, amount of shade, desired use, etc..). The customer service personnel were fantastic. They helped us through the decision-making process, followed-up and provided all the information we needed before, during and after the installation. The delivery took place exactly on time, as planned, and the driver was very professional.
