rarely write a bad review, knowing that everyone can make a mistake or have a bad day, but in this circumstance, it is deserved and others need to be aware and avoid this Salon. 1.The staff is incompetent and extremely rude, particularly the male "host" (arms covered with Tatoos--nothing against tats, just letting you know who it is). He needs lessons on customer service. Even answering the phone he makes you feel like you are inconveniencing and bothering him 2. They make incorrect appointments. You need to confirm before you go--your appointment might not be waiting for you. 3. It is overpriced. You are paying for what they think is a cool retro look, but it looks more like an EFFORT to be retro and no real sense of authenticity. The staff has high turnover and is mostly inexperienced. Look elsewhere for better cuts at a more reasonable price. 4. Look around, the place is most always empty with the exception of Sat afternoon. That ought to tell you something!

Well I have lived in Atlanta for the past 12 months and moving back to Ireland in 3 months, I'm kicking myself I only tried out this place last week! It's wonderful!!! I got the most amazing short haircut (big step for me)....I love the atmosphere there and the staff listen to your needs. BOOK NOW - I just wish I could take this place back to Ireland with me!

I have been getting my hair cut at Nadine's for over two years. The stylists are experienced and up to date. and the service is unmatched. I love the old barber shop twist! Did I mention how comfy the chairs and smocks are? FYI - This place is in Virginia-Highlands not Forest Park.

Only a decent hair cut but would not go again. Snotty service. Parking is difficult. Went to another salon in Marietta and got a better haircut and outstanding service, easy parking, and no downtown traffic.

I loved Nadine's from the moment I stepped foot in the door. They immediately offer you a beverage and you never have to wait long, or at all, for your appointment. Lindsey is my favorite stylist there, but they are all exceptional. I even convinved my boyfiend to go and he loves it now! He would never step foot in a salon before that. The place is very male and female friendly. One of the best in Atlanta!

I tried this place out 2 or 3 weeks ago and must say i was pleasantly surprised. First, what a great location - right in the heart of Va-Hi so it's easy to kill time before or after. Next bonus - really pleasant people and atmosphere. A bit more man-friendly than many salons, which is nice. They have a couple of barbers on staff, and George did a great job for me. I'll definitely go back. It's not as cheap as a Cut Zoo or Hair Cuttery, but not ridiculous either - especially if you really just want a cut, not a full-on style makeover.
