I purchased a car from Nalley - it has been nothing but a terrible experience. a)I paid cash, but they screwed up and deposited my post-dated check early, resulting in bank fees. b)Then, they tried to charge me more than book cost for a warranty, and when called out on it, it was obvious that we were being scammed on purpose - they were barely even sheepish. c)If you call with questions, their phone system is a total mess - no one answers and no one returns calls. If you're lucky enough to get someone on the phone, inevitably they'll have to "check" with someone else to answer your question, will promise a call back, and you will never hear from them again. Expect to have to place 6-10 calls to several different people to get answers for any question that is above a 3rd grade level. d)The final straw - there was a feature I wanted that wasn't available at the time of purchase, but the salesman, Don, assured me that it would become available shortly. Nearly a year later, after multiple calls to Don and other people at the dealership (including one call in which Don attempted to claim that he threw in that feature out of the goodness of his heart - that it was not a factor in the negotiation, he was just being nice - ha!), I was just now informed that this feature is not and never has been available on my model of car. Never got a call about this, never a word from anyone. The manager offered a shameful amount to make up for it. I did not accept. AVOID THESE LIARS!

My Ac compressor has to be replaced. They quoted me $1800.00 ! I went to 3 other Volvo repair shops....with from 16-25 years of experience. The HIGHEST quote I got was $950! I was also quoted $750 for a re built one with a year parts and labor warranty! NO more Nalley for me.

A service indicator light came on in my car. When I brought the car into Nalley I told the service advisor, Billy Thompson, that if the repairs were too much, I wasn't going to get the car repaired. The car is worth less than $3000. Billy said that my ABS Control Unit needed to be replaced for $1100. He never once said that it could be something else. Well, a week later the service light came back on. When I took the car back into Nalley, they replaced the ABS Control Unit again. The service light came back on within 20 minutes. This time they told me that it wasn't the ABS Control Unit and that I needed a pump that costs $1800. The service manager claimed they couldn't take the ABS Control Unit out and refund my money. All he offered was to roll the $1100 into a new car. Why would I buy a new car from a dealership that just stole $1100 from me?

I made an appointment for Saturday to have routine service completed (oil change). Upon arrival about 5 personnel passed me, however, not one of them greeted me. After roughly 10 minutes I approached the cashiers desk and inquired if someone was available to help me. The cashier check to see if I had an appointment and said she found none. She directed me to go to one of the service managers offices. I walked over to the service managers offices (which are fully glass from floor to ceiling) and stood under the "Remember the 10 foot rule" sign, after which about another 5 minutes I decided to get back into my car and have my service performed at a competitor.

If I could give them zero stars I would. We bought a "certified used car" as the advert on the internet said. It was meant to have been checked over by Nalley so we trusted them and paid them and left. A few days later we hear knocking from the back of the car, we take it to get it checked at our local mechanics, turns out the rear shock has gone, the front strut has no oil in it and so has no compression, and the brake rotors "are completely shot"!!! Total cost for repairs will be over $1000! I tried to call Nalley, got cut off twice (how convenient!), got transferred to the wrong person once, finally got through to the sales manager, only to be told that the cars only undergo a "start, steer, stop check", not a full check as we were told, and we signed a paper saying we were happy with the car when we picked it up! That's it, no apology for selling us a car with faulty brakes, no excuses for not checking it, nothing! I am in the process of taking legal advice. Please people, be warned, don't get caught out like we did, do not trust these people!!!!

I didn't find out about their nickname until after I used this Volvo shop twice. Honestly, I felt literally violated both times I went there. Thank God I found a good and honest Volvo repair shop to use instead. Nalley charged me for things that didn't need to be done. These service reps obviously work on commission - they most certainly are not there to help you.

They really have a great service department. The service managers have all been so nice and honest. I've never felt uncomfortable taking my car there.

I had a recall and I normally take my car to Peachtree Ind Dyer and Dyer but I was going to be in the area so i took my car to Nalley in Cobb. What a mistake, the place maybe clean but the service is lacking. I was informed by volvo shops, message boards and other volvo drivers that the recall is a joke and when they do a software upgrade that it wont fix anything, unit needs to be replaced. Nally updated the software and held me up for a while making me late for a meeting because they needed signatures and could not find the paperwork. I get in my car and it now won't even idel unless i push on the gas pedal and break. I call and leave a message with no responce and then I call again a get a tech on the phone and he said he would have to charge me to look at it. He also stated that the part was fine and they never replace them, however the salesman behind the parts counter suggested that it happens all the time and they should have just replaced the part. I call the other volvo dealers and they all (3) said that the part is faulty and is replaced and they should not try to update it. I am in the market for two new cars this year and they are more than likley going to be a Volvo C70 Conv Hard Top and a Volvo SUV but Nalley will not get the business. Waiste my time and you will never see business from me again. Just shoot me straight and I will be a customer for life.

Since I moved to Cobb County, I switched Volvo dealerships and started taking my Volvo to Nalley for all service and repairs. They were always extremely friendly and offered a shuttle service to my office which was a nice perk. This last visit was disturbing. My car had been making sounds and I took it in for the second time to be looked at. I was told that I needed $2,300 in repairs. The cost of my visits had been going up, so I had the feeling I needed to get a second opinion. I found a place that specialized in Volvo repairs and was shocked to find out that the recommended repairs were not necessary. I will be following up with the dealership on this matter, but I will not be returning as a customer. Although always friendly, I question their honesty and whether all repairs recommended were truly necessary.

Until recently I had my car serviced at Chris/Nalley Volvo whenever the suggested service was required, or whenever there was a problem. The service was excellent when it was Chris Volvo, but I have noticed a definite decline in service under the Nalley ownership. During one visit I was having a problem with my drivers side window. The technician checked it out and said he could not find anything wrong (in warranty). I continued to have the problem (not consistantly)and a few months later during a maintenance visit I asked them to look at the window again (out of warranty) they found a problem that would cost approx. $500.00 to fix. Calls and e-mails to upper management went unreturned.

I had a service appointment scheduled on a Saturday and when I arrived, the Service Department was closed. I went inside to inquire + was told that Service was closed for inventory. I asked why no one called me and got a shrug in return. No one offered to reschedule me nor did they apologize for wasting my time.

I had been to the other dealer on Peachtree and had not enjoyed the service, but this location is friendly and efficient and wants you to leave knowing you had first rate service!

The lease on my S40 Volvo was up this summer and, having just moved here from California, I had no idea which Volvo dealership to use. I had already had some bad experiences with the other dealership in town so I decided my only choice was to go with Nalley. I was not disappointed. My salesman was fair and he didn't try to push me into a car I didn't want. In the end, I felt I got a good deal with little hassle. I would definitely recommend Nalley Volvo to anyone in the market for a new car.
