(Decatur location) The staff seems competent, I've gone there ALOT in the past year, and I'm not in any pain now, so I assume they know what they are doing. The endodontist is VERY knowledgeable. Anyhoo, it feels like a MONEY GRAB EVERYTIME I go!!! ALWAYS trying to upsell me on products I DON'T NEED, I went in for a cleaning, ended up needing a crown replacement? Why is a "treatment coordinator" on staff? Doesn't the dentist know what needs to be done and can't they relay that to the patient? Seems like a waste of a salary and more money out of the patient's pocket. Again, the staff seems to be pretty skilled and pleasant, but it feels like you are being HUSTLED EVERYTIMEI don't like that, and that's why now that I'm "cured" I won't be going back....

The dentist at Nanston are the BEST. The office staff is friendly, kind, courteous and professional, even though sometimes the insurance information might get mixed up, they are still great. They are expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. They would be perfect for me if they were not so expensive.

I broke my number 30 molar and was trying to live with the pain. After 3 weeks I couldnt take it and called the office at 9 in the morning to get an appoitment. The girl got me in that day at 10:40 am. The wait was normal to me, the tech i guess you would call her was good. She wasnt overly friendly but she wasnt rude either. She had all my xrays finished in a matter of minutes and she even made a copy for me at no charge. The dentist came in and was very friendly, i liked the fact that she was young and spunky. she examined my mouth and told me i had an infection and that I needed a root canal and a crown. I thought all sounded about right and fair. I met with the billing lady and i did get the feeling they were nickle and diming but after all they are also a business. The treatment was going to cost me around $800 out of pocket. I told them I couldnt afford it and asked if i could just get it pulled. She went and asked the dentist and they told me what could possibly happen but if thats what i wanted i could do it. The billing lady went out of her way to call 3 different offices to get me in the same week and finally got me in the Decatur office. She also made me an appointment for the following week to get a deep cleaning, every dentist i have ever went to has always had me get this cleaning. I have never known what my free cleaning with my insurance is like :) Anyway, long story short, i have never had a bad experience here.

we went to douglasville office family of four my son had braces they make hale of money from my two dental insurance,they took my daughter on the table for wisdom tooth removal and remove some access skin they said don't worry it will be covered in insurance you don't have to pay anything, i don't know what happend and how much insurance paid but they are taking me to COURT FOR $750.00 be ware of this cheap people don't care for people they are after your money and they will take your signature for any thing BEWARE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GO TO COURT DON'T GO TO NANSTON I HAVE A LAWYER I WILL POST MY OUT COME I AM HOPING TO TEACH THEM A LESSON SO THEY WANT MIS TREAT OTHER PEOLPLE.

I am truly hoping that the Decatur Nanston office is taking these comments to heart and trying to make their business better.

My first trip was a nightmare. They kept telling me it all due to a new computer system, but I was there for 3 hours didn't get anything done except X-rays and a quick dental exam -- I have to go back now for actual cleaning. When I asked that more of my parking cost be paid for, they said yes, but I had to get a speech how they don't do that normally, like I should be eternally grateful.

I am tempted to ask for my X-rays and go somewhere else but when I called about doing that, they said it would be $45. So I am going to try again.
