Ralph came to my house and gave me a home energy audit. He recommended me the reflective insulation. I was skeptical about that but he agreed to let me visit his house with the reflective insulation installed in the attic. I was sold by how cool his attic was and let him installed in my house. Now that the summer has started and my attic is as hot as it was before. It is no where nearly as cool as at his attic. My May and June power bills are as much as last year. I was really disappointed and couldn't believe I've wasted thousand of dollars. I heard on a radio talk show one day and for those who consider this, please ask this question: If the reflective insulation really works, then when you wrap a potato with aluminum foil and bake it. Would it still cooks?
