Good doctor, 3/13/2009

I waited 10 minutes and was impressed with the advice and manner in which it was given. He told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear.

Worst Doctor, EVER., 4/21/2008

Dr. Nemec is a nice guy, but he is consistantly over an hour later for EVERY appointment I had. I dont mind waiting for an appointment if I get my problems addressed, but he spent more time on his... cell phone while in the room with me, than he did actually talking to me. My first appointment, he was an hour and a half late, and I could hear him outside my room talking on the phone with a tv repair person, telling him which tv to fix, etc. He was on the phone for a good 10 minutes. Once he was in the room, he took a very brief history and while I was talking, he interupted me to answer his phone. It was the repair guy again, and that call took a good 5 minutes. I've NEVER had a doctor bring a cell phone into a room like that. My follow up for the endoscopy he did, he was an hour late for that appointment and again his phone rang, twice. He answered it the second time and was nicer about it and applogized. He basically refused to treat me because he didnt know what to do. My other doctors are usually late also, but its because they spend their time answering patient questions and trying to understand the patient. I dont have a problem waiting for an appointment, even an hour, but to wait an hour and a half and see the doctor for 10 minutes (5 of which he was on the phone) is a joke. I've heard that Dr. Kwok (either one) is much better, but they refuse to let me switch doctors, even though Dr. Nemec doesn't know how to treat me.
