After a semester in College Station eating Rudy's BBQ, I went back home and ate at Nonmachers; I'd forgotten how tender and flavorful a sliced BBQ sandwich can be. The staff and owners are very polite, down-to-earth people and the food is perfect. The menu's a little limited because it's a smaller restaurant, but they make up for it in service and incredible barbecue. They have a few specials, e.g. another type of meat is offered a certain day of the week, and they cater. One bite and you can tell that Nonmachers takes great pride in what they serve.
