I used to love this place, but the orginal doctor left to take a corporate position in the veterinary corporation that took over the practice...he did not inform the current patients before he left. I guess he didn't care about the people who helped make his practice successful...the only doctor left from the original team at their new location was very rude to me. Dr. Kingrey who just came back is great!!!but if she's not there, you'll have to see the other one...beware.

If you need someone to give your pets the very best of care, then I strongly recommend North Atlanta Animal Medical Clinic(formally Minchew's). They have cared for all of my pets for the past 25 years. They have been there for me during the happy times and the sad times. I continue to utilize their services because they are knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly because they are caring to my pets.

Due to the negligence of the Dr.s here, my dog had to have her toe amputated. If the Vet's had listened to me in the first place, we would not have had to spend over $3,000 in vet bills in 2005. I would not come back here for life & death situation. The place is disgusting and should be shut down. Please take your loved one elsewhere. Pets are People too is FABULOUS, and the Sprayberry Animal clinic is good too. I have never been so infuriated with any vet in my life as I am with North Atlanta. Do yourself, and you pet a HUGE, possibly life-saving favor and go elsewhere! These people are just disgusting with their lack of caring!

Over the years we have had excellent service from this hospital. We,ve boarded a dog there who didn't handle being boarded in a fancy place. We've had a broken bone repaired on a cat, we've had euthenasia for an ill stray and cancer surgery on a dog as well as the normal annual heslth check-ups and routine rabies shots and heartworm care for both prevention and aftercare.
