Great product, installation and service. We have had our vented gas fireplace for 2 years now and recently experienced a small problem with the pilot light. David, Noel and Roy were great - the problem was fixed and they did not charge for the normal service visit as they felt it was an issue when the unit was assembled (a loose nut!)

Wow, didn't think this was possible, but North Atlanta Fireplace is possibly the worst company in Atlanta. Started well, but salesman Scott sold us a $1200 product that had to be replaced (three months later still waiting for final repair), and a $1100 fireplace with a "feature" that was never disclosed. The owner David, was unresponsive at best and their return policy non-existent. The outdoor firepit they sold my wife and I was not sealed (stained in the rain), leaked propane, and has still not been fixed. The modern (fyre) indoor fireplace was installed incorrectly at first (they didn't even know it was a remote) and then never said it was external remote (ie, sitting on the hearth - otherwise it melts if in firebox - big square just sitting on your hearth). After two months, finally installed with remote sitting. Scott said they would accept the return for 15% cost, owner David concurred and we proceeded. Today just found it was for store credit. Once this became clear that they had terrible products and even worse service. I would never, ever go to this company - find your products online, get another installer. Do ANYTHING but work with these guys.

My experience with this company was very negative given the lack of expertise, follow through and overall focus on the customer. The only redemning quality was the installer had years of experience. They don't seem to know what they are doing.

Got 4 quotes and went with this company because they were the cheapest. Their sub contractors were terrible except for Rene'. He was awesome. But the man who set up the fireplace and logs had no idea what he was doing. I had to figure out how to put the insert in correctly and help him figure out the log configuration. He also did not hook the gas line properly. It had a leak at the unit as well as at the LP tank. I had to get my LP service company out to fix both leaks. I also had to place several service calls on the unit not working properly and they couldn't figure out what the problem was and ended up just turning on my pilot light to stay on continuously. They told me it wouldn't use much LP gas which was a lie. So we had to turn off the pilot light and now will deal with the same problems we faced before. I would never recommend this company. The salesperson, Alan, was not professional and I did not enjoy my experience with him.

We did our homework on the internet. We went to this store to see examples. They didn't have the exact ones we wanted, but would order them for us. The price was a lot more than the internet price, but we didn't feel right ordering off the the internet after they helped us in the store. We wish we had gone through the internet. It took them over a month to get them in after promising they would arrive in a week. Their "professional expert" they recommended to do the installation was very bad. He left over 7' of metal gas line hanging unsupported and drooping. He didn't even check his joints for leaks. When my wife said it smelled like gas he blew her off and said that was normal. After he left and it still smelled like gas I did the soapy water leak check and found the leak. I called the installer several times to try to get him to correct the problem. When I finally got him on the phone he hung up on me. The store hasn't helped correct the problem. There are other places to purchase gas logs. Try them first.

We ordered a Vermont Aspen wood stove from this outfit. The salesman was knowledgeable and very helpful. When we needed a reliable contractor to re-do our hearth (before we could install the stove)..he found us one. Also, the installer used by North Atlanta does a great job. Finally... the fire tool set that we ordered was somehow misplaced, but when the replacement arrived the salesman delivered it to our place himself, thus saving me from a long trip...that is dedicated service. The stove is working well.

We had looked at several places for gas logs when a friend recommended north Atlanta fireplace. We visited their showroom on a weekend and they were very friendly and knowledgable. They recommended the ideal size of logs based on our fireplace and they have a recommended installer if needed. We used their installer and he called me Sunday evening to let me know he had our order to schedule the install time during the week. He called me to keep me updated on his arrival and had the logs installed and working in under an hour. Overall great experience which I would recommend for anyone interested in gas logs.

I very much like dealing with them - from start to finish - they had the logs I wanted in stock and had their installer contact me the same day - when our chimney cleaning service no showed, they recommended someone who showed the next day allowing the installer to follow him in quickly. the whole install took less than an hour including running the gas line to the appliance from our basement. would recommend to anyone.
