Been going to various locations of N Atl O/G for about 10 years. I had an emergency situation last year that didn't turn out well in terms of attention, followup, insurance, call on necessity of surgery, all of it. Dr. Shellnut-Dodder has consistently been an excellent doctor but progressively I've felt less at ease with the practice, North Atlanta OB GYN. They charge an administrative fee on top of insurance copay. They use assistants in surgery that may or may not be covered by the insurance the practice says it takes (I balked at this and they did quit billing me for the charge). I experienced a week of pain primarily because of lack of follow through by another doctor in the practice. Dodder is great in skill and response and bedside manner, but I've not had a great experience with the practice in the last year.

I've been going to them for almost 3 years now. I had my son a year ago and they were courteous and helpful throughout my pregnancy. The doctors and nurses are very nice and make me feel at home.

Always feel that they are taking time to listen to me and to ensure that I feel comfortable during my appointment. Always in and out so I can get back to work. They always turn on the heater.
