Thank goodness for North Cobb
I transferred my 2 dogs here after service declined substantially at our old vet. Dr. Gould is great with both dogs, and takes her time with them. Everyone - from the front desk to the techs - clearly loves animals, and they have worked us in at the last minute more than once in an emergency. As for the cost, they are on par with any other vet - vets are expensive now! I don't doubt, however, that they would work with us if we needed a payment plan. I have nothing but good things to say about North Cobb.

Very Costly!
I went to their office recently as I got a dog from the humane society that needed to be looked over as well as needing to get neutered. I asked for an estimate fot eh procedure and they quoted me nearly $400.00!! I was so shocked! I called around to other locations and the procedure only seems to cost $125-150 elsewhere. I cannot imagine why they cost so much but I will not be going back there! Oh, and the free visit that I wass supposed to get because my dog was a rescue, ended up costing me $100 as well. Think twice before you take your pet there.

Love Dr. Gould
My dog had severe Kidney stones and needed a very complicated emergency surgery to survive or he would have to be put down. This surgery was very complicated and really needed to be done by a specialist I could not afford. Dr. Laura Gould agreed to do the surgery at her North Cobb Animal clinic and my dog survived and is doing just fine. I believe this vet when above and beyond to help me out of a real jam. I have been using this clinic for more that 10 years with all my pets (cats and dogs) and have never had a problem.

Unbelievable. My dog was the guinea pig.
This happened a while back but I am just finding out about Kudzu so here is my review. I have a pet papillon that needed to be neutered. Because of his size, the veterinarian suggested I use Neutersol instead of surgery. Neutersol is an injection to shrink the testicles. I agreed to the procedure because the vet was admittedly nervous to put him under anesthesia due to his size (3 pounds). The Neutersol did not take. The testicles did not dissolve like they were supposed to. The veterinarians decided they could do the surgery after all. Well guess what? Because the Neutersol did not take the first time, my dog has the behavior of a dog who has NOT been surgically neutered. The veterinarian told us that even though they performed the surgery, not all of it could be removed. So, my dogs marks his territory and acts like a non-neutered dog! To make matters worse, it appears my dog was the first or one of the first dogs that received this shot at their practice. I found out from another veterinarian practice that the FDA may not have even approved it yet and they were practicing the procedure on my dog. Isn't that unethical? If I would not have been a poor college student, I may have sought action.
