I transferred my 2 dogs here after service declined substantially at our old vet. Dr. Gould is great with both dogs, and takes her time with them. Everyone - from the front desk to the techs - clearly loves animals, and they have worked us in at the last minute more than once in an emergency. As for the cost, they are on par with any other vet - vets are expensive now! I don't doubt, however, that they would work with us if we needed a payment plan. I have nothing but good things to say about North Cobb.

I went to their office recently as I got a dog from the humane society that needed to be looked over as well as needing to get neutered. I asked for an estimate fot eh procedure and they quoted me nearly $400.00!! I was so shocked! I called around to other locations and the procedure only seems to cost $125-150 elsewhere. I cannot imagine why they cost so much but I will not be going back there! Oh, and the free visit that I wass supposed to get because my dog was a rescue, ended up costing me $100 as well. Think twice before you take your pet there.

My dog had severe Kidney stones and needed a very complicated emergency surgery to survive or he would have to be put down. This surgery was very complicated and really needed to be done by a specialist I could not afford. Dr. Laura Gould agreed to do the surgery at her North Cobb Animal clinic and my dog survived and is doing just fine. I believe this vet when above and beyond to help me out of a real jam. I have been using this clinic for more that 10 years with all my pets (cats and dogs) and have never had a problem.

This happened a while back but I am just finding out about Kudzu so here is my review. I have a pet papillon that needed to be neutered. Because of his size, the veterinarian suggested I use Neutersol instead of surgery. Neutersol is an injection to shrink the testicles. I agreed to the procedure because the vet was admittedly nervous to put him under anesthesia due to his size (3 pounds). The Neutersol did not take. The testicles did not dissolve like they were supposed to. The veterinarians decided they could do the surgery after all. Well guess what? Because the Neutersol did not take the first time, my dog has the behavior of a dog who has NOT been surgically neutered. The veterinarian told us that even though they performed the surgery, not all of it could be removed. So, my dogs marks his territory and acts like a non-neutered dog! To make matters worse, it appears my dog was the first or one of the first dogs that received this shot at their practice. I found out from another veterinarian practice that the FDA may not have even approved it yet and they were practicing the procedure on my dog. Isn't that unethical? If I would not have been a poor college student, I may have sought action.

After reading many reviews on Kudzu I decided to board my dogs at North Cobb Animal Hospital. I called in to reserve spots for my dogs. The person over the phone was nice. I've told her that my dogs are up to date on all shots (I've also told her what shots they had and asked if they need anything else). She assured me that they don't need anything else. On the day of boarding I was informed that one of my dogs need another shot. I was not happy about that since 2 days earlier I was assured that shots they had was all they need. Also, I was told that my dogs will stay together. I've asked the person at the front desk to feed my dogs with food that I've brought from home (the food was labeled in individual bags). When I picked them up one of my dogs face was scratched up. They did not stay together. One of them smelled like urine, could not wait o go outside and pee (peed inside for a long time). As soon as I took them outside they both peed again and pooped twice each. The food that I brought for them was not used for one of my dogs. Person who worked at front desk tried to charge me twice for shot and disposal fee that I already paid. I think these reviews are written my employees. I would never board my dogs with these people again. Please think twice before boarding your dogs here.

I take my dog here to be boarded. She has never come home happier from being boarded. You can tell they take good care of the animals. They have given her the shot she needed to be boarded and cut her toenails. They always do a good job. Best kennel I've found.

Took my dogs to this animal clinic and found them to be caring and thorough in all their vet work. My dog had a nail condition and took him to two other animal clinics before this hospital finally found out what was wrong with him. He is now cured and very happy! Would highly recommend this animal clinic to any pet owner.
