My dog got his check up here a few months ago and I was happy with my service. My dog is healthy and im happy. The vet. was a nice person with good prices. I will bring my dog here again.

I came here for my dog who had a tumor in his ear recently and am definitely going to return. They did a quality job for a good price and I felt I could trust the vet with my pet. Ever since he has been doing great and I take him back for every other problem I've had. Great Pet Hospital.

My boyfriend and I just got a new puppy, so we went to the Pet Hospital of North Park to start all of her shots. The waiting area was pretty small and full, but we were seen right away. Our appointment was with a female doctor who was very friendly and great with our puppy (and us). She actually took the time to explain to us what shots she needs, why, when, as well as other details about feeding, fleas control, spaying, worms, and some other puppy stuff that we had questions about. My boyfriend and I were really impressed with the time she spent with us and we will definitely be returning.

I've been to many vets over the years - in Tierrasanta, Hillcrest, Clairemont, La Mesa. North Park is WAY down the totem pole. Tiny lobby. Staff is nonchalant. On one visit a sick dog had diarrhea in the lobby. Staff wiped it up half-***ed. Mainly swirled it around on the floor. I had to ask them to clean it again because it stank. Dr. Osawa gave a diagnosis after hundreds of dollars worth of tests. After many months and expensive prescriptions, he decided his earlier diagnosis was wrong. He seems like a nice guy, but I want a good vet, not a nice guy. Like other posters, staff ignored me even though I was the only one in the lobby. What's up with that?

I've gone to several different vets with dog problems throughout the past four years. Dr. Osawa, Mackenzie (receptionist), Eddie and another assistant were a great team. They were all very efficient, gentle and helpful to both me and my dog. Eddie came out and gently picked up /weighed the dog, another took his temperature is such a way - that our dog didn't even know what was happening. The Doctor was clear in what was absolutely needed, professional, yet also kind / compassionate to our pet. Finally, as busy as it was, Mackenzie helped take out the bag of special food, supplies so I could hold my dog. Way sweet experience at this Vet's - certainly works for me!

I'll have no problem returning to a place like this - Nice staff, helped me carry my fat cat/carrier both in and then out to my car when I left. Polite would be a good description for the vet. And nice too. I had a good experience and want to thank everyone who works there!

I admit I do read reviews on businesses to help me decide where to go for things, and although I have read some negative reviews made on this particular vet clinic I went there anyway (found a coupon for the first exam free on their website!). I can honestly say- this place is very nice, the staff and doctor are friendly (no one was having a "bad day"), and I was treated well. Their prices seem about the same as any other local vet, they do however give you a free dose of Advantage when you buy a box of 4 which is a deal in itself. I'm glad I didn't let what other reviewers said defer me, or I would have never discovered my new favorite pet hospital!

The people there were not helpful at all! And the girl that worked there and I talked to was really rude! She gave me information that contradicted what the vet said and when I asked her to clarify she got all snippy with me as though how dare I question her.

We brought our kitten here when we got her in January. They have been very good to her, getting all of her shots and deworming. The vet is caring and they also have a back-up vet available for when he's not around. The only thing I don't like about this office is that the waiting room is often crowded when you come in, which can be a nuisance when you have an agitated pet.

Unfortunatly, I have had 3 situations that I needed a vet for my 2 cats this year. I went to this vet as it was recommended by a group that helps pay for the bills of people like myself that are on disablity. I thought it would be a cheap and not so great place! But instead I found a clean and wonderful vet, that with his staff, gave the best care I have ever experienced. They take the time to answer questions, and were helpful in helping me fill out the extra paperwork I needed for the funding. They were respectful and kind to me and my animals. If I won the lottery and didn't have any money issues at all, I would still take my animals to this wonderful vet. Holly Pitchell, Rizzo, Duffy and Harley

Dr. Osawa and his staff are committed to providing outstanding service and health care to your pet. I followed Dr. Osawa from a clinic closer to my home to this one which is about 30-45 minutes away because I want my pets to have the best. The Dr. and his staff truly care and prove it time and time again with each interaction. I would encourage anyone looking for a vet that will treat you and your pet with the utmost respect and highest quality of care to look no further!!
