My son & I have been coming here for over 10 years. We have always received the best dental care. A very professional group of people exists here. Everyone treats us as if we are family. Karen, a dental hygienist at North Point Dental, is the best hygienist I have ever had. I always have a lot of stains on my teeth from smoking. When I leave, I have none. They are very upfront. A list is provided of estimated cost and treatment before any work is ever completed. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone I know.

Although I had never had any problems with my teeth or gums, I was told that I had Gum Disease and required a "Deep Cleaning" for the area around 1 tooth. The person who cleaned my teeth made it all sound very serious and said she would not recommend the deep cleaning without the antibiotic treatment which was a "must" in her book for proper healing. I was naturally alarmed and said sure let's do it. I walked out about $200 lighter after my insurance payment covered a portion of the basic procedure. Six months later I was back having been extra careful each day with the area still not quite feeling there was a problem. After the x-rays an attendant stops by and wants me to sign an acknowledgement of today's charges- an additional $200 out of pocket-I said, I just want a normal cleaning. I was told that since I now have gum disease, every visit must be a deep cleaning and it would be quote "Malpractice" for them to just perform a normal cleaning. I got up and walked out. I went to a new Dentist who pronounced my gums and teeth in perfect health with pockets no greater than a 3 in measurement and performed a normal cleaning. After it was completed, I told him about my experience with NPD. He said that I in no way needed a deep cleaning and that unfortunately some offices are just looking for ways to build their revenue stream.
