I have a 5 year old mix breed who had a litter of puppies, well needless to say 10 pups later she needed to be spayed, we decided to go with northbrook for the price ( 230 compared to near 400 other vets wanted ) so me and my mom dropped her off in the AM picked her up by 4. well when i got there they gave me no meds no e-collars and used none dissolving sticthes to sew up the incesison and no green tatto to show shes been spaded if she were to get out no vet would no with out opening her up if shes been fixed. well i then a few months later took the pups tto get fixed at another facility,( that follows gov regulations to a T )i later that altered dogs need pain meds for 3 days after and the e-collar for 10 days along with the green tatto. never stepping foot in that door way again.

My do got bitten by another dog. Needed less then one hour of the vets time to clean wound and put in 8 or 9 stiches. Vet told us it would be $800. I protested, she told us to go take the dog elsewhere, but it was so late in the day only the emergency vets would now be open. The vet told us that her price would be comparable to the emergency hospitals. What a comfort that was, not! She also old us the $800 would cove all meds and supplies. After we got home, we noted that the dog needed pain med, and a plastic collar to keep her from chewing on the stitches. The meds were another $30 and the special collar was $40 (I found the collar on the net for $3.00 !!!)

I MOVED TO ROSWELL RECENTLY AND THOUGHT I WOULD TAKE MY DOGS TO NORTHBROOK. WHEN I WENT IN I WAS TOLD THAT MY RECORDS WERE NOT THERE FOR MY 12 YEAR OLD DOG. I HAD ARRANGED AND CONFIRMED WEEKS EARLIER THAT THOSE RECORDS WERE INDEED FAXED OVER. THEN I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD MATCH PRICES ONLINE FOR CERTAIN DOG MEDICATION BUT WHEN IT CAME TO ACTUALLY HONORING THEIR STATEMENT THEY TOLD ME THEY ONL MATCH CERTAIN WEBSITES AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO COME IN IN PERSON TO GET MY CREDIT OF 15 DOLLARS. I WAS TOLD IF I GOT THE CREDIT OVER THE PHONE IT WOULD ONLY BE 13 DOLLARS BECAUSE IT COST THEM MORE TO CREDIT BACK MONEY OVER THE PHONE. THEN CAME THE TIME TO TALK ABOUT DOG TEETH CLEANING. INSTEAD OF IT BEING 170 DOLLARS IT IS 24O DOLLARS AND I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE IT DONE FOR 170 WITHOUT BLOOD WORK THAT MY DOG JUST HAD DONE. I WAS TOLD THEY WERE VERY BUSY AND THAT SOMEONE WOULD GET BACK TO ME BUT THEY NEVER DID. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO BLOWN OFF.

Northbrook Animal Hospital is the best veterinary facility I have ever been to. The staff is warm and friendly and the veterinary care is superb. I would not hesitate to recommend Northbrook Animal Hospital to all of my friends.
