Great Service
I had Northside come out to clean my apartment carpets after I moved out. Al was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed up when he said he would and called when he was on his way so I could meet him at the apartment. I did use the power scrubber service, which I felt was a little more expensive than I hoped but it looked great. I have recommended Northside and will use them in the future.

Very disappointed
This was the 3rd time I used Northside (same tech every time). I was always happy with them in the past. This time, we moved in to a house with very dirty carpet. The Tech up sold us on the "power scrubber" which was $160 and "guaranteed" that no spots would resurface. Spots came right back up in all of the rooms and near all baseboards was still dirty.

When I called the gal on the phone tried to tell me that it was just the underside of the carpet coming through. This made absolutely no sense. I'm in design and buy carpet for a living. This carpet is in a 3 year old house to boot. The tech came back out, but wasn't very happy. I showed him all of the spots and dirty areas. He said again there was no way spots could come back up wit the "power scrubber". But, there they were! He proceeded to spend 2 minutes spraying a few areas with a water bottle and then left. The carpet is still dirty.

I referred them to about 5 friends in the past and won't do it again. What a waste of money this was. Pretty disappointed. A company should not offer a guarantee if they don't plan to honor it.

Christina, we’re sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. Sometimes around the baseboards carpets will get a black line, which is called filtration soil and is almost impossible to remove. The tech should have explained that to you, if he didn’t, I apologize. If the carpet has had 3 years worth of filtration soil and the house has dirty air ducts, that could be why the filtration soil is so apparent. We always rinse carpet, tile, & upholstery with a neutralizer which prevents rapid resoiling. The “dirt spots” you had mentioned could have actually been stains that needed to be treated with an oxidizer. We always honor our guarantees by sending a tech back to the home if there are any problems so they can be corrected.
What confuses us here is that a word for word identical review was left by you on the website Yelp dated 6/12/2010. Is this Kudzu review about a new job performed by us less than a week ago or the same job we did for you almost three months ago? Please call us and ask for Al, he is the technical manager. He would like to personally sort this matter out and take care of any concerns you may have. Thank you for your feedback.

I was very impressed with this company. They did a great job and were very professional. The carpet looked perfect. Would highly recommend them!

You can't loose
I have used Northside Carpet Cleaning several times in the past few years. They are very passionate about their work and it shows. The technicians are very knowledgeable about how to treat certain stains and odors. If a spot or odor comes back after they have left, you can bet, they will come back and treat it..No questions asked. I have tried the higher priced companies but Northside really shines beyond comparison.

Fantastic job, low price!
