Be prepared to wait. Last time we waited over 50 minutes and finally left after the doctor never came to our exam room. This is my third experience with around a 1 hour wait. My worst was about 90 minutes.

Our 6 year old daughter recently passed away from a terminal illness. From day one Northside Pediatrics has been by our side. While Dr. Hopkins was her primary physician, we spent time with virtually everyone in their practice. Northside helped cooridinate care literally all over the country and amoung her many doctors in Atlanta. We spent on average 20 weeks each year in the hospital and they visited or called every day. While everyone's experience may be different we can never repay them for helping give our daughter the highest quality of life for her short six years. While I hope no one reading this is in the same situation, take solace in the fact that when there is a critical need, everyone in this practice steps up. As for Dr. Hopkins, yes, he is everything and more that folks have written about him. He was our daughter's guardian angel.

I cannot accurately put into words how wonderful this practice is! I chose them (and our primary pediatrician -Dr. Hopkins) when I was still pregnant and expecting a typical pediatrician relationship. My daughter was born with a rare progressive disease and I am truly amazed at how vital they are to her continued well-being! They always take the time needed, never rush us, and have called and gotten us into specialists when needed. All of the doctors have become familiar with her complex needs, and we consider them family at this point. There's no need to look for another pediatrician - whether it's a typical ear infection or you need someone to help manage a list of specialists for your special needs child- this is the only place I would go!

I can say that we have been patients of Northside Pediatrics for GENERATIONS! I took my first four children there and now our two children who we recently adopted AND my grandchildren go there as well. We are multi-generational patients and we love everything about them. I honestly believe they have the BEST docs in Georgia!

I started going to this practice almost 6 years ago when we lived in Brookhaven and had our firist child. We moved to East Cobb 4 years ago, and still drive there for well and sick visits for my 2 children. It takes about 30 minutes and I drive past several other pediatricians on the way! Our regular pediatrician is Dr. Hardin, and we've even driven to the Woodstock office to see her! I've grown to trust them and appreciate their advice and approach. They listen, empathize and recommend realistic solutions from other parents who happen to be doctors. The nurses are super sweet with the kids, too. You can always get in for a sick visit (including on Saturdays), and I've even been able to get in touch Dr. Hardin after hours (when she was on call) to discuss an issue. The nurses are great about talking through issues with you as well.

I can't agree more with other reviews about this practice going downhill!! Docs don't know how to use their EMR. No personal interchange with docs. You feel like a number. Staff is rude (front & backoffice). Wait time is way TOO LONG!!!!

I have been going to this practice for 4 years now. When I first found them, I loved them. However, in recent years the old doctors have been turning the practice over to the younger docs and the place is going down hill. Wait times are anywhere from 20-30 mins in the waiting rooms but have had to wait for 60 additional mins once in the exam room. Their doctors also have conflicting opinions on treatment. Again, their older docs like Winner, and Brown knew their stuff. The latest round like Dr. Doyle and Salmon aren't the most pleasant to deal with. Dr. Hopkins is great but in demand since he is so good. There is no patient doctor relationship. When they do call to "check in" on your child, they are simply going down a list. Often times, they don't remember the actual patient. I also agree that the doctors don't know how to use their new computer system and the office is ALWAYS too hot!

I am shocked by the negative reviews about this practice since my experiences have always been positive. I have taken my children to Northside Pediatrics for 13 years and they are professional, thorough, and compassionate. Sometimes the waits are longer than I would like, but I am always glad when my child has special circumstances needing physician time, that they are not rushing me through the appointment. I would much rather have a thorough pediatrician. We have seen every doctor in the practice over the years, and while I have my favorites, they are all professional, thorough, understanding, and great with my children. Over the years I have recommended Northside to many friends, and no one has left. Most recently, I am grateful for the attentiveness to my teenager's long lasting virus -- they took her symptoms seriously and followed up with me repeatedly to check on her progress. I highly recommend this practice.

Have taken my kids to this practice for 18 years but after today may not go again. Almost 2 hours for a routine teen physical is too much! The infoscreen in the waiting room tells you all about the extra fees they charge but the quality of the service has gone downhill. The doc is ultra smart but does not know how to use his EMR.

I love this office! The doctors come and see your baby at the hospital (Northside) when your baby is born to check them out. They are open on Saturdays and you can always get in for a sick appointment the same day you call. I can always see my favorite doctor (Hopkins!) but all of the docs there are great. My kids love him! They have a free nurse line to call and if you call after hours with a problem the on-call doctor will call you back. There were some long waits a while back when they were converting over to their new paperless system but now I am in and out of there in no time. Also, Scottish Rite is probably the best children's hospital in Atlanta and they are right down the street. Most people I know consider this practice the best in Atlanta!

This Practice is amazing! The staff and the Physicians treat you like family. My kids don't dread going to the doctor and if they get to see Dr. Hopkins, they get really excited! They have always taken the time to listen and you don't feel like they need to rush to get to the next patient. I would recommend this practice to anyone!

We have been using this practice for 14 years, and have always been pleased. Today the doctors and staff went above and beyond once again, calling our home to check on our daughter after seeing her in their office yesterday. Very caring doctors.

I've waited so long that I was offered a gift card for a free movie rental. The wait is ALWAYS long whether you are here for a well visit or sick appointment. They even hang signs around the office explaining why you can expect the wait to be long. I've never experienced this with another practice. The only reason I continued to come is because of one of the doctors who has now left the practice. I'm now looking on Kudzu and getting referrals for a new practice.

I take both of my kids here and have been very happy with the quality of care. We normally see Dr. Hopkins for check ups, but for some reason always end up seeing Dr. Salmon for sick visits(and really like him as well). Yes, I've had to wait a while before, but I've also been "that patient" who probably held up the rest of the day when my infant ended up needing an emergency referral to cardiology - and if you are "that patient", you will be so grateful for the time and care given to your child. We still drive all the way from Decatur to visit this office even though there are much closer practices to us.
